US: 11/22, 11/29

Main event was a cage match, but it was last one left loses it for his team rules. Order of escape:

1) Octagon
2) Kenzo Suzuki
3) Latin Lover
4) Electro

At this point, Super Fly was bleeding and had a ripped up mask, so Latin Lover had to go back to save him. Latin fought Konnan, who ended up bleeding during this.

5) Rellik
6) La Parka

Latin climbed up to leave, but had liquid thrown in his face by Sergio Mayer*. Latin took a big bump into the cage, Konnan climbed out and now is in control of AAA. Cibrenetico confronted him, said his contract with the Roldans and not AAA, and the ensuing argument led to the AAA World Championship being vacated.

* – Sergio Mayer was one of the producers of the Solo por Mujeres shows that Latin was a part of, then not a part of after a falling out. I don’t think anyone reading this cares all that much, but it’s surely something for the gossip shows.

The AAA article mentioning the titel vacated says the possible contenders are (if you can’t name them by the end of this line, you have not been following this promotion) Zorro, Chessman, Mesias and Cibernetico. Wheee.

Zorro took the pinfall in the street fight. After the match, Charly Manson tried to get Cibernetico and Chessman to reunite and reform the Hell Brothers, but Chessman refused. They’re done.

Yes, six straight men.

Charly Manson and Prez. Roldan presented him with the medal.

Chris Stone was hurt in the ladder match. I was hurt by Lider/Nicho holding onto the titles. I’m thinking this means HF2 isn’t long for this world.

Nothing much on the rest of the show.

10/25: Mexico, lineups

CMLL (FRI) 10/24 Arena Mexico [Ovaciones, ESTO, superluchas, la Aficion]
1) Calígula & Méssala vs Sensei & Sombra de Plata
2) Flash, Metalik, Stuka Jr. b Euforia, Loco Max, Skandalo
3) Hijo del Fantasma, Mictlán, Valiente b Olímpico, Sangre Azteca, Virus
4) Dragon Rojo Jr., Ephesto, Misterioso II DQ Averno, Mephisto, Terrible
5) Black Warrior, Blue Panther, Último Guerrero DQ Villano III, Villano IV, Villano V

Villanos dominated the first fall, but UG snuck a rollup on V5. During the second, Panther tried to punch V3, was stopped by the ref (no closed fist), and V3 kicked him low for the DQ. Laguneras want a rematch, again.

When forced to choose, Ephesto choose the two guys who ditched him to join Perros del Mal over his countrymen. The DQ in the semimain might have been for the turn, or might have been for a Terrible foul before the turn. Either way, it was another two fall match. Ephesto helped beat up his teammates after the match, and then strip them of their masks.

After the match, and backstage, Averno & Mephisto announced they were forming a new group with Ephesto, Terrible, and Texano Jr. No name was given. This sounds like Damian 666 and Mr. Aguila are going with Perro, but wait till we get to the lineups.

Sangre beat up Monito early on in the tercera and he was taken to the back, not to return.

indy (THU) 10/23 Arena Olimpico Laguna de Gomez Palacio [el siglo de torreon]
1) Camorra & Detector Jr. b Aguila Negra & New Warrior
2) Mascarita Maligna b Lobo del Aire and La Parkita
4) Angel de Oro, Sexy Piscis, Trueno b Dulce Paola, Guerrero Inca, Psycho
4) Blue Panther & Huracan Ramirez Jr. DQ Último Guerrero & Villano V

UG and V5 were fighting with each other by the time the third fall started. Villano V ended up fouling Panther, fouling Huracan and fouling Ultimo. That’s one way to do it. Challenges were made for Panther/UG vs V3/V5 in November. They said hair/mask but that’s not happening.

5) Dos Caras Jr., Héctor Garza, Marco Corelone vs Atlantis, Mr. Niebla, Rey Bucanero

Hey, look, DOS CARAS JR. Also, Mr. Aguila and Damian 666 on the undercard. I think what’s going on here, at least for the Perros, is Perro Jr. announced his departure a few weeks before anything was actually going to happen. Chui mentioned they showed a vignette of Mistico getting ready to return to the ring, and they probably would be doing Perro Jr. ones too if he was coming back to CMLL, so he had to put the word out this week that he was not. Still, everything’s got to be on hold until he’s healthy, because there’s no shows without him.
