Wrestling Observer says this cage match is supposed to be War Games. The article doesn’t say that, but I’d assume it’s because AAA has totally neglected to explain the concept. The article also says surprise wrestler on the rudo side, but it’s Rellik. I presume Super Fly gets the big win here and Konnan retires for a couple weeks.
They didn’t stop doing ladder matches. BOOOOO. They don’t list a stip for the opener, but surely there is one. Billy Boy can’t even get in the Everyone Not In A Match match, sad for him.

Another damn Ladder match? Do they want Jack Evans to die or something?
I kinda like the main event. Hopefully it’s the end of the Konnan/Roldan feud.
No Kozlov or Romero? Interesting.
Charly will be the surprise luchador for the gauntlet match and will roll up Morgan to keep the medal and sent you know you home crying.
Isn’t that match lacking in rudos?
@xuisaw: I think Scoria and Cuervo are still rudos. I suspect Mesias will keep wrestling like one. Psicosis and Histeria could’ve been turned off screen. But Pirata Morgan has to be a rudo (and has to face Elegido during this.)
Should have said, rudos with a shot at winning, but on second thought, it looks as if only a couple of guys have a chance here (but Charly will end up winning, heck, he could roll Mesias up and side himself with Chessman for all I know).
@xuisaw: Oh, yea, it’s totally Mesias unless they have mystery people join in.
@xuisaw: I’d have said the other way around it’s lacking in technicos.
Let me get this straight. 5 out of 6 matches are gimmick matches? What is this? TNA? Wow.
@Phil Lions: The Pena show IS a gimmick – it’s their all gimmick match show.
I see. I must’ve missed that part. Oh well. Thanks for clarifying.
The main event will probably be a War Games in the Dome Cage.
I’m surprised that there’s no lights out match, or Relevos Increibles.
Great to see that Latin Lover is back.
Not a bad lineup.
Gato Eveready in the gauntlet is nice but why no Aero Star? Seems odd to me.
I suspect D-Mex will get involved in the ladder match.
Charly winning the gauntlet could happen I guess but Mesias looks like the winner on paper if nobody gets added. Although if they give it to Extreme Tiger it may be the most hilarious moment of the year.
Perhaps the mini’s will work in the dark since their outfits are always shiny.
Gotta disagree with Super Fly getting the big win. Konnan’s team is so winning War Games with him making someone submit. Bank on it.
is it a real War Games match, like with 2 rings, or is it just similiar, like using the same rules?
They did a “war games” match in 98 or 99 where Sangre Chicana won the “Amo del Escandalo” title, no way Parka, Octy, Latin, heck, anyone save SuperFly could make it out of the Dome. I guess it will be a normal cage, maybe covered like the one used for the Manson vs Zorro hair match.
I wonder if Romero is working Japan during that show and took Koslov with him (breaking Negro’s heart along the way)
@xuisaw: If it’s under War Game rules nobody will have to leave the cage, the match goes until somebody QUITS.
