Picking these back up on DVDs. Not going to do all of them, I think, but they were on top of the pile on the day I had time free.
I have nothing to write here, except the second match was the fun you get with Flash and Fantasma and rudos putting out some effort. So, lists that are going to get me into trouble
Mistico
Sombra
Volador Jr.
Hijo de Fantamsa
Flash
Valiente
Stuka Jr.
Mascara Purpura
Sagrado
Astro Boy*
Angel Azteca Jr.*
Metalik
Tony Rivera
Hijo del Faraon*
Neutron
La Mascara
Metalico
Axxel
Mictlan
Fabian el Gitano
Leono
* – not having seen them near enough
Good to know La Mascara is 13th.
Metalik is downgraded until I know he won’t get hurt on every other dive. So is Valiente.
Sagrado would be many spots higher as a non-clone.
I’m surely forgetting people. Tigre Blanco has been off my TV for too long to rate (same problem with the novatos.) Other tecnicos I thought of and didn’t include because it didn’t fit the list: Panther, Dos, Wagner, Garza, Park, Dragon (sub-La Mascara?)

4) Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario b Jack Evans & Teddy Hart
5) Aerostar & La Parka Jr. b Electro Shock, Kenzo Suzuki, Konnan
6) Cibernetico & Zorro b Chessman & Mesias [Relevos Increíbles]
Projected Air Date (#859)
Mexico: 10/26
US: 11/16
The contract signing took place halfway during the show. The guys from the semimain accompanied their men to the contract signing. Electroshock saw Super Fly, killed him once again, and Konnan signed the contract in Super Fly’s blood because it was cool that one time he saw it on RAW. Neat how AAA is trying to differentiate themselves from WWE by being a derivative as possible.
AAA’s recap suggests there wasn’t actually a finish in the main event, just the teammates not getting along and working in different alignments (the Cibernetico/Mesias partnership we’re supposed to be excited by). Zorro is credited with the win.
Super Fly couldn’t go in the semimain, and no one else could possibly work, so it was a 2 on 3 match. Which Parka won anyway. Electroshock, the man being built as a killer, lost to a Parka armbar. Tecnicos celebrates, then got killed by the debuting Rellik. Gato Eveready, Alerbije and Elegido ran in to get be cannon fodder. After, Roldan promised his own surprise for the Pena show. It’s not clear if this is meant to be Latin, given they already announced that on the website.
1) Fire, Pequeño Damian 666, Pequeño Halloween b Nino de Acero, Pequeno Ninja, Último Dragoncito
2) Averno, Mephisto, Terrible b Fabián el Gitano, La Máscara, Volador Jr.
3) Atlantis, Negro Casas, Último Guerrero b Dos Caras Jr., Héctor Garza, Marco Corelone [CMLL TRIOS]
They’re teasing a Fire/Dragoncito mask match here. Just like MVS and CTres, I’m sure TVC Deportes wants to have their own four week feuds.
CMLL (TUE) 10/14 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [cmll, MT]
1) Virgo b Azazel
2) Impostor b Fraile de la Muerte
3) Rafaga b Carlo Roggi
4) Rey Trueno b Palacio Negro
5) Damián 666 b Rayman
6) Metal Blanco, Metalik, Sagrado b Mr. Águila, Mr. Trueno, Toscano
7) Dos Caras Jr. & Marco Corelone b Atlantis & Cien Caras Jr.
Metalik back in action here (and winning in straight falls), so I guess he’s okay. Tecnicos won the main event clean. Damian did foul Rayman and got away with it, so it’s not like there was all clean finishes or anything crazy.
CMLL (TUE) 10/14 Arena Mexico
1) Carrona & Zayco vs Molotov & Sombra de Plata
2) Angel Azteca Jr., Angel de Oro, Hijo del Faraon b Calígula, Hooligan, Méssala
AAA makes it sound like Latin Lover is back and not just making a one week appearance. AAA is slowly putting up info about last night’s taping, and I’ll post it here after it all goes up.
Blue Panther is pleased with the creation of Ola Lagunera, but has no plan on going back to the rudo side. Misterioso II was surprised to be to considered among possible Ola Lagunera members, but would join if Ultimo or Panther asked.
Rey Misterio was added to the Tijuana Walk of Fame.
SoloLuchas has interviews with IWRG’s Miss Gaviota (claims Pimpinela is his cousin) and Aerostar (defensive about his innovation, Pena sketched out his look but didn’t come up with the name before he died), and an injury update on Amapola (hurrying to come back in 3 to 4 weeks.)
AAA TV (FRI) 10/24 Beisbol Beto Avila, Veracruz [notiver]
1) Mascarita Divina, Mini Charly Manson, Octagoncito vs Mascarita de la Muerte, Mini Chessman, Mini Histeria
2) Fabi Apache, Mascarita Sagrada, Pimpinela Escarlata, Super Porky vs Cinthia Moreno, El Brazo, Mini Abismo Negro, Polvo de Esterllas [lumberjack]
3) Jack Evans & Teddy Hart vs Alan Stone & Chris Stone and Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario [AAA TAG, ladder]
4) Mesias vs El Elegido, Silver King, Gato Eveready, Escoria, Psicosis II, Histeria, El Alebrije, Crazy Boy, Extreme Tiger, Cuervo, Pirata Morgan [torneo Antonio Pena]
5) Cibernetico vs Zorro, Chessman [street]
6) La Parka Jr., Latin Lover, Octagón, Súper Fly vs Electro Shock, Kenzo Suzuki, Konnan, Rellik [War Games]
Projected Air Date (#860)
Mexico: 11/03
US: 11/23
Wrestling Observer says this cage match is supposed to be War Games. The article doesn’t say that, but I’d assume it’s because AAA has totally neglected to explain the concept. The article also says surprise wrestler on the rudo side, but it’s Rellik. I presume Super Fly gets the big win here and Konnan retires for a couple weeks.
They didn’t stop doing ladder matches. BOOOOO. They don’t list a stip for the opener, but surely there is one. Billy Boy can’t even get in the Everyone Not In A Match match, sad for him.
