Panther beat UG with a cradle and the ropes. This is a fine slow build for Anniversary #76, I guess. Panther is getting some wins to build him up for next Friday, but it seems to take the focus away from that match when he’s feuding so much with someone else instead.
Amapola pinned Apache clean in the third fall. Mano Negra appears to have bailed on this gig for IWRG, Arkangel replaced him here. Cholo actually won? I may need a second source to confirm such things. YAY for Cholo anyway.
(refoma via Jazzo) Kenzo Suzuki likes Mexican wrestler the best of the stytles he’s been – Japan is too serious, US is too entertainment, Mexico is just right. His wife is spending two months in Mexico, then two months in Japan, then back two months in Mexico and so on, and is also working on a novel.
Ohtani’s Jacket writes about Atlantis vs Panther from Atlantis’ anniversery show
Noroeste talks to El Pilo Garcia, who wrestled from the late 60s to 2006.

Halcon Negro is the guy that bailed/was told not to come. Did he show up in IWRG??? That seems odd. He’s far from home.
“This is a fine slow build for Anniversary #76, I guess.”
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
At CMLL’s pace maybe even #77!
Sad to hear OJ being so down on both guys. Atlantis is a waste these days and really seems to not have pride in his work any more but Panther can still go when he wants but seems to have changed his style to fit the current product. I mean… he used a running somersault plancha recently and regularly does 2 dives a match – sometimes 3!!! He obviously wants to hang on with the current crew of guys who is good for him. Perhaps they’ll respect him enough to try and do HIS STYLE once in a while.
I added a little more info from going to the AWS show on Saturday in the comments section for that post. After years of no one hearing from Superboy, he’s been showing up to train.
Reminder. In 20 minutes, AAA will be on Cristina. The promos looked really bad. Let’s hope it’s not too bad.
This univision show is awesome. Ciber is drugged out of his mind. You have Pimpi/Cassandro wrestling to YMCA. The minis(Octagoncito/Abismo) and My favorite tag team, Estrellita/Sexy Star.
And you have nothing to say about Juanita “la Carinosa”? Those Bolivian women are cool, and draw more than NWA Mexico. It was funny when Mini Abismo had to fan Octagoncito b/c he was so out of breath after their exhibition.
Rob vs Chui could probably draw more than NWA Mexico. The Bolivians were pretty good. I saw them on Bizarre foods a couple months ago.
How do you know Ciber is drugged out of his mind?
Chui vs. byl is also a good feud. Ciber did seem wired. Sad.
I’ve seen drugged out people. He looked it tonight. But Cassandro kissing him seemed to wake him up.
He was speaking like he was drugged up, with a total run on sentence, and the way he was moving so nervously in the chair, he seemed kind of messed up.
Shame…
I’ve never heard of a wrestler showing up for an appearence drugged up.:( We need more role models like Vamp in this world.
Well we all can’t be like Tzuki I guess. You should watch the show Rob, Your boy Konnan Big was on for like a second.
Tzuki is FULL OF DRUGS. Hence the constant no-shows. Every wrestler in Mexico is on something except Vamp and El Cholo.
I don’t know when Konnan Big became my boy though. I think I’m gonna go to bed very frightened now.
@Rob: @Tim: when did Konan Big appear?
i think my trip is canceled. i’m kind of afraid of flying these days. plus mexico is dangerous. there’s an MMA show in Tampa on Anniversary night. i would not be surprised if I never go back again. and there was a time I went once or twice a year.
Did anyone else read on byl that TVC aired the Wagner show on Sunday and Monday and CMLL Puebla never aired?
@luchalibrelive!: they may just be spreading these things out – the Wagner show was from a bit ago.
