08/21: Queretaro, Spain, DTU

CMLL (TUE) 08/19 Arena Queretaro
4) Alex Koslov & La Sombra b Dragon Rojo Jr. & Principe Valiente Jr.
5) Místico & Terrible DQ Dr. Wagner Jr. & Texano Jr. [Relevos Increíbles]

SoloLuchas: 4

In the big main event battle of guys with much fan support, the crowd actually was not split – they cheered for Texano’s team over Terrible’s. Match came down to Wagner and Mistico, and Wagner fouled Mistico and punched the referees. Perros beat up both of them after the match.

Alex reversed a cradle on Dragon Rojo for the win.

CMLL (TUE) 08/19 Plaza de Toros Alicante, Alicante, Spain [ESTO]
1) Metálico & Molotov b Artillero & Súper Comando
2) Hooligan, Loco Max, Nitro b Astro Boy, Fabián el Gitano, Metalik
3) Flash, Stuka Jr., Valiente b Arkangel de la Muerte, Damián 666, Virus
4) Felino, Heavy Metal, Máximo DQ Euforia, Mr. Águila, Nosferatu
5) Dos Caras Jr., La Máscara, Lizmark Jr. Hijo de Fantasma b Atlantis, Dos Caras Jr. Lizmark Jr., Olímpico

I can not believe we’re three for three for Spain results, considering all the places in Mexico I don’t get results. This show drew 1,200 people, which does not sound good. Interesting that they’re mixing up the lineups each night, and which guys are on top.

DTU (SAT) 09/06 Bar Litros [DTU]
1) Amo de la Noche vs Charly X, Aguila Misterio, Rockero
2) King Cobra & Urgos vs Demoledor & Seputurero
3) Dance Boy vs Relampago de Fuego, Black Fire, Demente Xtreme, Muerte Bucanero, Talaxys, Hormiga, Money Pack, Konamy, Violenco Jack, Angel o Demonio, Juan el Ranchero
4) Danger vs Paranoiko, Ragade, Markabre [DTU]
5) Crazy Boy & Ultimo Gladiador vs Jack Evans & Teddy Hart and Aero Boy & Pesadilla

Jack & Teddy working a DTU show is the most obvious thing either. Semmain is a three way, with one of the not-Danger guys being eliminated before hand in a match in Guadalajara.

(Reforma via Jazzo) Villano V is not high on turning his mask match with Panther into a three way with UG. He feels either the winner of the mask match should get to decide who they want to face next, or perhaps it should be a parajes increible with Atlantis/V5 vs Panther/UG, with the losing team squaring off. That sounds incredible likely. Whatever it is, V5 wants to it to be one man vs one man when it comes down to the mask, because that’s what was on the contract.

(Milenio) CMLL wrestler are supposed to work the Banda Ancha music festival in Monterrey.

Just mentioned Dominican Republician lucha libre yesterday, and today, there’s a story about a new promotion starting up in Santo Domingo. Sounds like they’re Puerto Rico influenced.

  1. They said Queretaro was taped for local Galavision. I’d like to see someone put it up on youtube.

  2. If Panther is willing to lose his mask, then it makes sense to lose it to a younger star that has a few years left, like UG. So this match could be leading to more challenges for 9/19, and some kind of multi-man stip match.
