06/09: Monterrey, Guadalajara

The rumor mill says this upcoming Sunday’s Coliseo show is being turned into an Arena Mexico show with a new card, but I haven’t seen anything from CMLL on it yet.

indy (SUN) 06/08 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC]
1) Halcon Pergrino b Atomo (Monterrey)
2) Gato Fantasma & Rey Pantera b Sark War & Tacua
3) Dranser & Furor b Azteca Warrior & Scravos
4) Voltaje Negro b Dralion, Black Diamond
5) Mosco De La Merced II & Virus b Hijo de Trueno & Volador Jr.

The original Mosco is back in AAA, so I think this is the second Mosco here in Monterrey. But who knows.

CMLL (SUN) 06/08 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
5) Exterminador (Guadalajara) b Lider [hair]
7) Dos Caras Jr. b Último Guerrero [CMLL HEAVY]

Dos locked on his cross armbreaker for the win in the first fall. Ultimo stole a quick second fall using a pin wiht his feet on the ropes. In the third fall, Dos actually used the German Suplex for the win. Sounds like he got put over strong.

Ovaciones writes about hair matches at TripleMania, right next to the giant ad for TripleMania.

Luchas 2000 #423 hypes the big cage match, but the cover also teases Silver King to AAA (in Superluchas, he says he’d listen to AAA and let’s the reader think he may be the mystery man, but probably isn’t) and Super Calo leaving AAA (which is shame for AAA.)

AAA has a bio of Bobby Lashley, as well as a picture that looks borrowed from WWE.

I think I may be updating the software which runs the blog portion of this site. We’ll see how quickly it can go. The idea is to maintain everything now and just make it easier for me. If the site looks funky tonight, that is what’s going on.

  1. RFC says it’s Loco Valentino… and that the crowd was 200, where’s the big soccer game this time?
