FSE-US: This episode has the Infernales taking it to the Tony Rivera Handsome Boys Modeling Club and mix and match in the main.

For no particular reason, they’ve moved the original episodes to Friday afternoon. I believe they’re airing Friday night in Mexico, but we’re still two weeks behind in the US.

I have Comcast cable scheduled to show up between 2 and 6, and they have to deal with the cable cards on my TiVo. I figure I have a 2% chance of actually getting this show taped. Luckily, they’re keeping the Monday midnight replay.

This reminds me I ought to backup everything on my TiVo I might want to keep before something horribly goes wrong.

AAA-US: Rey de Reyes, part 1. It’s like it was on PPV, except many weeks later and for free.

CAN52: Diamante Negro leads the Infernales vs the high flying segunda crew, and more Mistico vs UG in the main event.

CMLL: We were off by a week – Televisa lists the matches from the PPV to air this week. There’s an 1:45 scheduled Saturday night from 7 to 8:45. The regular show is only 75 minutes, so something will have to be cut up a lot if they’re fiting three matches in.

AAA-MEX: perhaps your only chance to see Operativo on TV this year. In relevant action, it’s a Legion/Sect main event and more Abismo than you can handle in in the semimain.

FSE-MEX: Fabian el Gitano almost dies in the opener, and Sagrado, Mascara, Felino vs Ohara, Misterioso and Ohara in the main.

Cadena3: Mistico vs Warrior in trios action

Pierroth retirement match announced

CMLL.com confirms what Pierroth has been saying for the last while – CMLL’s throwing him a retirement show on August 15th. The main event will be Pierroth teaming with the man who unmasked him, LA Park to face contemporaries Atlantis & Satanico.

CMLL says the match will be a double hair/mask vs hair/mask match. I must be misunderstanding that, because that would mean Atlantis or LA Park would lose their mask and that’s ain’t happening. So I dunno about this except the match will surely be taking place four months from now.

04/16: Coliseo, Mexico, Guadalajara, Fuerza

CMLL (SUN) 04/13 Arena Coliseo [cmll]
1) Disturbio & Zayco b Frisbee & Tigre Kid
2) Dr. X, Hooligan, Nitro b Astro Boy, Leono, Tigre Blanco
3) Fabián el Gitano, Máscara Púrpura, Mictlán b Diamante Negro, Skandalo, Virus
4) Felino, La Máscara, Sagrado DQ Misterioso II, Ohara, Olimpico
5) Sangre Azteca, Toscano, Último Guerrero DQ Grey Shadow, Místico, Negro Casas

This week, UG went for the foul, got it blocked, and just tossed his mask to Mistico. Of course Mistico caught it and got caught. Mistico’s getting pretty tired of this bit (not the only one) and we appear to be headed to a Mistico/UG singles match here. Before that, they’re talking about turning this Sunday’s iteration of this match (Alex in for Shadow) into a super libre match to counteract the DQs.

Olimpico yanked Sagrado’s mask to end the semimain. Ohara replaced Lizmark Jr. It’s been a while since he missed something. All sorts of injuries and near injuries in the tercera – Fabian hit badly on a dive and Diamante Negro and Virus had issues. Looks like Astro Boy might have gotten hurt in the segunda, judging from the pictures.

The Legends of ’75 were honored before the semimain.

CMLL (TUE) 04/15 Arena Mexico
1) Pólvora & Zayco b Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II
2) Amapola, La Nazi, La Seductora b Luna Mágica, Princesa Blanca, Sahori
3) Metálico, Starman, Tigre Blanco b Arkangel de la Muerte, Hooligan, Skandalo
4) Damián 666, Mr. Águila, Texano Jr. DQ Heavy Metal, Hijo del Fantasma, Volador Jr.
5) La Máscara, Místico, Negro Casas b Black Warrior, Misterioso II, Rey Bucanero

Mr. Aguila fouled Heavy Metal. Tercera seems a bit of an upset, credited to Metalico and Tigre Blanco dives at the end.

CMLL (TUE) 04/15 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [cmll]
1) Thunder Boy b Milenio
2) Idolo b Danger (Gudalajara)
3) Lider DQ Asesino Negro
4) Metal Blanco & Metalik b Loco Max & Vaquero
5) Malefico & Toxico b Gallo & Leon Blanco
6) Lizmark Jr. & Último Guerrero DQ Héctor Garza & Marco Corelone

UG went to foul Marco and Marco blocked but somehow pulls UG’s mask off in the process. Sucks for Marco. Asesino Negro lost by foul in the third. It looks like Vaquero worked an extra week here just to work an extra week here (or maybe just to make sure his bald head was seen.) Another opening match guy takes his spot on Sunday

CMLL (SUN) 04/20 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Quazar vs Azazel
2) Nube Roja vs Imposter
3) Idolo vs Exterminador
4) Metal Blanco & Metatron vs Infierno & Jeque
5) Fabián el Gitano, Magnum, Stuka Jr. vs Mr. Trueno, Nitro, Rey Trueno
6) Blue Panther, La Sombra, Shocker vs Atlantis, Olímpico, Universo 2000

CMLL (THU) 04/17 Arena Neza [heri999]
1) Calígula & Méssala vs Pólvora & Vaquero
2) Dark Angel, Luna Mágica, Marcela vs Amapola, Hiroka, Mima Shimoda
3) La Máscara, Negro Casas, Stuka Jr. vs Villano III, Villano IV, Villano V

Arturo Rivera’s weekday column talks about losing Fuerza Guerrera along with other veterans and the affect on the company. He says Fuerza’s headed into IWRG. Luchas 2000 apparently has an article saying the same.

In today’s Ovaciones, Hector Garza campaigns for a neutral referee for Friday’s title match as well special security to prevent interference, after what happened in the hair match.

(Estadio W) Abismo Negro is offended Mesias claimed Mexico is not that great. I can not believe this is an actual story.

AAA posted photos from their children’s hospital show. It’s a good thing they were at a hospital, becuase Kenzo looks to have broken Cuije with a kneedrop. Do you think Argenis corrected any sick child who thought he was Mistico? I’m thinking no.
