Huh. I have no idea what Zorro getting the singles match now means. Are they just going to kill him off now? Are they accelerating the title chase to get it over with in a few weeks? Is this just typical AAA of running all the angles in the 3 tapings after the major show and doing nothing for six weeks? I don’t have a read on this.

Would Zorro vs Cibernetico for the title alone fill Palacio de los Deportes?

Semimain checks in on the status of Mesias. If he’s going tecnico, he’s losing here and having issues with his partners.

Fourth match is Jack Evans debut and Teddy Hart’s first non-ladder match in AAA. Kenzo’s an odd fit for the match.

Tercera is designed to make the Apaches feud more confusing. There’s no way for Billy to win that.

Toxico hasn’t been around in a while, Picudo’s not been around in a while longer.

Upcoming Tapings
04/10: Toluca

  1. I guess that “Messias turning tecnico” is this year’s version of the “Manson’s doing his group”, they have not even hinted at such turn, it was just Konnan and Legion turning on him.

I guess they could do a Chessman/Ciber vs Zorro/Electro Shock vs Messias/Ozz dome of death at AAAMania… would be a bit more interesting it being 3 way, maybe even 4 way with Parka-ris/Elegido(?) or Guapos or something.

  2. I always thought Mesias vs.Cibernetico vs. Zorro(or Konnan) would be the main event they going for. Each leader of each group to settle the score once and for all.

I never thought Mesias would turn tecnico. AAA never hinted to it.

I’m anxious too see Evans and Hart, they are pretty good high flyers and probably the best in the US. Plus,Juvy is going to step it up a notch for the Americans. Lider must be shitting in his pants to be working with his idols. I wonder if Hart and Evans the new undercard guys of the Legion?

  3. Teddy’s track record is awful so this won’t last long. Lider better enjoy it while he can.

The Apache storyline should get interesting here… I still say we’ll end up with either:

    1) Billy falls in love with Mari.
    or
    2) Billy gets recruited by Apache and an awesome rudo team is formed.

No way Ciber vs Zorro happens. It’ll be like the 11/11 Irapuato taping I just saw with Ciber vs Mesias scheduled and not taking place due to injury. It’ll end up as Ciber/Manson vs Konnan/Head Hunter or some shit.

  4. According to gladiatores, Rossy Moreno and Estrillita will be (or were) in a hair match, I think AAA could have used that kind of angle to keep things rolling inbetween RdR and AAAMania.

  5. If anything with the Apaches Vs Billy Bitch, er Boy, and Mari it ends up like this:

Match goes smoothly for the most part, untill Mari turns on Billy, the Apaches stomp him down, all three walk away a family again, Billy swears revenge, grows a set and comes back to kick some Apache ass, Which relatively speaking for Mari and Fabi that’s a lot of ass, LOL!

  6. thank you AAA for this Apaches match that will air in the US on my birthday. :>

  7. I think that the “match” will happen to be an injury angle to get Zorro out of action and setup someone to step in.

  8. This didn’t take long, here are two more TV tapings

4/10 – Gimnasio Agustin Millan de Toluca (TV taping)
    1. El Angel/Argenis/Gato Eveready vs. Operativo/Picudo/Toxico
    2. Los Exoticos (Cassandro/Pasion Cristal/Pimpinela Escarlata) vs. The Night Queens (Nygma/Polvo de Estrellas/Yuriko)
    3. Joe Lider & Juventud Guerrera vs. Extreme Tiger & Halloween
    4. Escoria/El Mesias/Ozz vs. Electroshock/Kenzo Suzuki/Zorro
    5. Abismo Negro/Charly Manson/Chessman vs. Los Vipers Revolucion (Histeria/Mr. Niebla/Psicosis)

4/16 – Parque de Beisbol Ciro Soto de Celaya (TV taping)
    1. Danger/Gato Eveready/Milenium vs. Bestia Metalica/Mega/R-15
    2. Billy Boy/Pegasso/Super Fly vs. Mr. Condor/Gallego/Gran Apache
    3. Mexican Power (Crazy Boy/Joe Lider/Juventud Guerrera) vs. La Familia de Tijuana (Extreme Tiger/Halloween/TJ Extreme)
    4. Charly Manson & Chessman vs. Jack Evans & Teddy Hart
    5. Abismo Negro/Brazo de Plata/Intocable vs. Mr. Niebla/Psicosis/Luchador Sorpresa
    6. Cibernetico & La Parka Jr. vs. Konnan & Zorro

  9. And the results

AAA 4/5 – Plaza de Toros de Torreon (TV taping)
    1. Argenis & Gato Eveready beat Picudo & Toxico
    2. Mascarita de la Muerte/Mini Abismo Negro/Mini Histeria defeated Mascarita Sagrada/Mini Dizzy/Octagoncito
    3. Parejas Increibles: Gran y Fabi Apache beat Billy Boy & Mari Apache – Mari gave Fabi the Michinoku Driver II afterwards and she was stretchered out.
    4. Jack Evans/Teddy Hart/Kenzo Suzuki defeated Mexican Power (Joe Lider/Juventud Guerrera/Ultimo Gladiador) – Evans & Hart got rave reviews here.
    5. Alan Stone/Elegido/Laredo Kid beat Cuervo/El Mesias/Ozz by DQ when La Secta destroyed Laredo leaving him maskless and bloody.
    6. #1 Contender Match for the AAA World Heavyweight Title: Cibernetico w/Charly Manson defeated Zorro w/Konnan by DQ when El Mesias attacked Ciber on purpose then attacked Zorro setting off a brawl with the HB’s, Secta, & Foreign Legion.

  10. Oops that was my typo I was working on another card with a #1 contender match at the same time.
