Champs retain, and the match was said to be superb. Texano Jr. either fouled Wagner or faked a foul in the main event. Next week has Guerreros vs Nuevo Perros.

CMLL posted the results for the minis match twice instead of the tercera. Trios champs won in the third fall with everyone doing a move from the same corner at the same time, same as Puebla.

Texano Jr. brought his bullwhip into the cage, used it on the tecnicos, tied them all together, and the rudos all left the cage. Sadly, they left in two minutes, and escapes weren’t allowed until seven minutes. Fine plan though. Tecncios made sure to use the rope on Texano. Once the seven minutes were up, escapes went Leono, Leon Blanco (who teased a top rope dive but just left), Mascara Magica, Inferino, Alex Koslov (who attacked Tony Rivera on his way out) and Texano Jr. (who abandoned Malefico.) Malefico powerbombed Tony and pinned him for the upset.

Cien Caras Jr. fouled Gallo and yanked the mask. Ref caught both.

(Reforma/Jazzo)) Mini Damian and Pierrothito had a press conference to talk up their title match tomorrow in Neza. Damian plans on winning the title, then taking Pierrothito’s mask, then forcing him out of wrestling and into a career of selling tacos and juice. Now that’s a man with a plan.

Meanwhile, Hector Garza wants revenge. It’s still all Averno & Mephisto’s fault.

The losing tag team meets in a title versus a title match. Being this is a WWA show, I’m guessing it’s Rayo vs Doc, but when it turns into vanity title versus vanity title, I have no idea how they book their way out of it. I’m guessing Dr. Wagner wins.

First match back for Mesias that I know of.

The main event of Rey de Reyes, as currently advertised, is going to be a match between

– one man who will be appearing on the televisions shows but not wrestling
– one man who will not even be appearing on the television show

This is the dumbest thing ever. They can’t even ‘fix’ it by having both work on the 03/09 taping, because it won’t air till a week after Rey de Reyes takes place. There are so many problems here

* How dumb was it to have Mesias retain the title at Guerra de Titanes? Not as dumb as to put Cibernetico thru a flaming table! My best guess is they planned to have Cibernetico run thru guys to get revenge before getting to Mesias, while he was in TNA. Of course, Mesias’ beatdown on the December taping doesn’t work with any of that.

* Why start to turn Mesias tecnico before Cibernetico got his revenge on him? Apparently the revenge isn’t all that important.

* Why not just reintroduce both guys at Rey de Reyes and do the title match sometime after? If the Rey de Reyes concept is a draw, and if Big Foreign Stars are a draw (and AAA appears to believe both of these things), you really shouldn’t need the title match. You could just slide both men into ? spots in the atomico match and use that to start making the title match seem more important than something randomly thrown in.

The actual answer is either
– They’re not confident Mesias will be around a lot
– They’re in a desperate hurry to turn Mesias tecnico (and team with Cibernetico and/or La Parka Jr. to fight the Legion) and clearing the deck to make it happen ASAP. Which would be a strange priority order

None of this makes much sense.
