02/10 AAA TV Results (Ixtapaluca)

Previous: 01/19 (Guanajuato), 01/26 (Puebla, 1), 02/01 (Puebla, 2)

AAA TV (SUN) 02/10 Plaza de Toros de Ixtapaluca, EdM
0) Billy Boy & Gato Eveready b Alan & Operativo
1) Aero Star, Estrellita, Fabi Apache b Gran Apache, La Diabólica, Mari Apache
2) Mini Charly Manson, Mini Dizzy, Octagoncito b Mascarita de la Muerte, Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Chessman
3) Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera, Ultimo Gladiador b Extreme Tiger, Halloween, TJ Extreme
4) Abismo Negro b Mr. Niebla
5) Intocable, Laredo Kid, Octagón DQ Decnnis, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido
6) Kenzo Suzuki, Ron Killings, Zorro b Alan Stone, Charly Manson, El Alebrije

Zorro beat Charly clean. Really, Zorro won a clean match, by submission even. After, Chessman appeared to announce Cibernetico would be appear on the 02/15 show. Good thing Zorro got a win while he still could.

Scorpio yanked Octagon’s mask, and Piero caught him and disqualified him for doing so. Piero! Anyway, Octagon and Scorpio are apparently feuding.

Absimo beat Niebla, and Prez Roldan immediatly apppeared to announce that match did not matter at all. Abismo was not pleased. Roldan declared there’d be no new leader of the Vipers until the next taping, where the same two guys meet in a bull terrier match.

Crazy Boy made an appearance for the Mexican Powers match, though he’s still recovering. MPs won with some help from Chessman. Meanwhile, Mini Chessman turned on his rudo mini parnters, and hopefully this is the end of him being booked on rudo teams. Not much to note about the mixed match except Fabi pinned Mari, and AAA actually listed (what I presume is) the dark match opener.

  1. That mixed match could be great. Especially the Tecnico team.

So what happened to the Charly Manson was going to retire rumor?

  2. I want to see that opener more than anything on the main show except *MAYBE* the opener. And that’s a HUGE maybe. Good for AAA.

  3. Killings was K Kwiq in 2001! Those jeans are seven years old! I hope his new WWE deal pays him enough money to buy new gear, though it can’t possibly be as fun as fighting Alebrije and Cuije.

or maybe this is a secret sign he’s going back under that name.

  4. Killings seems to have a skull cap on, so he’s probably practicing for a really racist gimmick when he returns to WWE.

  5. Wow, I’m totally out of it. I thought the 2/1 taping with NOAH guys was airing today. Oh well.

Opener was REALLY GOOD. Keep in mind I’m big time behind on AAA TV viewing so this might be old news but… how awesome is Mari Apache? Aero Star is so tiny that he manages to use her as a base for most of the match including this *AWESOME* new spot which is basically the move Yoshitsune does where he runs at the turnbuckles and backflips onto the apron as a dodge move but Aero Star did it from the apron into the ring as Mari was chasing him! He was spot on the entire match.

Still not getting this Billy Boy/Fabi newest break-up though. They went through so much to get together and now just b/c Billy hit her with a chair once when her dad moved she wants to dump him again? Not very imaginative booking. At least tease Billy having a crush on Mari or something.

2/15 results were posted in the ByL forum along with pictures.

    Gato Eveready = Nemesis?

  6. Mini’s were short and to the point. Lots of flying by Octcito/Mini Dizzy + the angle. Octcito did do one of the most gorgeous dives I’ve ever seen and Mini Dizzy tried to beat Super Fly’s record of the most backflips during one exchange.:)

I don’t get the current AAA mini’s structure:

    Mini Tecnicos:
    – Octcito
    – new Mascarita Sagrada
    – Mascarita Divina
    – Mini Dizzy
    – La Parkita
    – Mini Charly Manson
    – Mini Chessman

    Mini Rudos:
    – Mini Abismo Negro
    – Mini Histeria
    – Mascarita De La Muerte
    – Jerrito Estrada

Doesn’t make too much sense, not to mention the only rudito taller than the tecnicos is Mini Abismo. This is where AAA could still use Mini Psicosis.

  7. *L* I like how they edit every blown spot from the undercard matches but leave in Juventud slipping trying the Sabu spot. I wonder who he pissed off.

Ultimo Gladiador blew his big dive in his debut and looked to hurt himself. They didn’t even show ExTiger’s dive which tells you he blew it badly and he looked to be hurting as well.

    MEXICAN POWERS!
