02/10 AAA TV Lineup (Ixtapaluca)

Previous: 01/19 (Guanajuato), 01/26 (Puebla, 1), 02/01 (Puebla, 2)

AAA TV (SUN) 02/10 Plaza de Toros de Ixtapaluca, EdM
1) Aero Star, Estrellita, Fabi Apache vs Gran Apache, La Diabólica, Mari Apache
2) Mini Charly Manson, Mini Dizzy, Octagoncito vs Mascarita de la Muerte, Mini Abismo Negro, Mini Chessman
3) Joe Lider, Juventud Guerrera, Ultimo Gladiador vs Extreme Tiger, Halloween, TJ Extreme
4) Abismo Negro vs Mr. Niebla
5) Intocable, Laredo Kid, Octagón vs Decnnis, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido
6) Alan Stone, Charly Manson, El Alebrije vs Kenzo Suzuki, Ron Killings, Zorro

The return of Mini Dizzy! Also, Laredo Kid. You’d think he’d wrestle against the guy who injured him over El Alebrije. That’s quite a wacky main event tecnico crew.

Looks like Ultimo Gladiador is the Crazy Boy fill in for now. Mascarita de la Muerte seems to be getting an extended shot as a mini.

01/29: AAA’s added Abismo Negro vs Mr. Niebla for leadership of the Vipers

  1. Just for randomness I like this card but it does have the usual logic flaws AAA has had tons of in 2008 so far. The major one being the Laredo Kid deal and the second being why are guys like Ultimo Gladiador and TJ Extreme working in the promotion? AAA is turning more backyard than ever.

  2. I just checked the XEJ feed and it didn’t work but I’ll give it a shot again. Waiting an hour for the MINI’S ON CADENA TRES anyhow.

I wonder if the XEJ feed switching to a new website (and new channel) is just a name change or perhaps they’ve switched and now don’t carry the Gala feed?

  3. Ah, thanks. I got it working now but why does it say 2:22pm? Shouldn’t it be 3:22pm now? Lucha starts at 3 so I guess it’ll start at the exact same time as Cadena Tres.

  4. Okay Henrik – you watch the Arena Mex segunda, I’ll watch the mini’s and we’ll compare notes.:P

  5. Shit, i never noticed this thread as i was watching the minis match

But i just tried and it looks like i can’t get a XEJTV anyway :(

Anyone watching the main show for updates?

  6. NEUTRON AND STUKA JR. INTO THE FIRST ROW! Awesome dives. If Felino would have hit that finisher, it would have been a great spot.

Mini’s on Cadena Tres were fantastic once again. Longer than usual match without as much as flying as you’d expect but still the standard amount of nice dives. Fantasy was great again! Pequeno Violencia was actually a bit of a disapointment as he let the other two ruditos do the catching. Pequeno Halloween was the star. Dragoncito/Pequeno Aguilita had a great opening exchange.

Did the entire Arena Mex opener air or just the third fall? Only caught a bit of it so not sure.

  7. DIAMANTE NEGRO! WHAT A SPOT!!!

Henrik, you’re getting your wish. This has been AMAZING so far.

  8. Keith – if you have a dark screen, follow Victor’s advice. I had a dark screen using Mozilla but then if you use IE and his link it works, just gotta restart the feed once in a while when it freezes up.

  9. I’m using IE, but I’ll try Victor’s advice again.

Although Cad 3 is kind of good today, I may stick to it.

  10. Meanwhile on Cadena Tres – Fabian just hit a run-up-the-ropes moonsault dive! Take that cubs! And Flash’s finish was amazing.

Dueling CMLL shows that are fun!

  11. Motherfucker… Valiente did his usual dive over the ringpost last week just as I thought. I hope Momentos shows some mini’s highlights next.

  12. Fuck, i didn’t think i’d miss much with that tercera so i was busy trying to get an XEJTV feed that worked during the primera caida. That’ll teach me :(

  13. Hopefully that Arena Mex segunda makes it online somehow since it’ll be nice to watch in full without the sudden XEJ freezes. Diamante Negro looked the best he ever has so far and Stuka was way too good. It’s like watching Psicosis in 1997 jobbing on WCWSN. He’s just way too good for that treatment.

  14. Aw, no mini’s spots from Momentos.:( Valiente’s dive makes up for it though.

Think I’ll skip this 17 minute tercera and watch some Cadena Tres w/ Valiente.

  15. Wow, El Terrible did a good promo. I still dream of a Dos Caras Jr. vs. Terrible title feud.

  16. Great – For the first time ever, cadena tres just shat out on me, and it only happened to be exactly at the moment Valiente was running up to nail his usual dive :(

  17. LMAO!!! That tercera has to be seen, especially the finish! Blow by blow…

Lizmark Jr. gets his foot stuck in the ropes when being backdropped to the floor. He unhooks his foot and Koslov tries to kick him – the kick misses by ten feet. Lizmark sells it anyways about 3 seconds later. Koslov almost slips doing his springboard plancha. Dragon dropkicks Olimpico off the apron and does an asai moonsault. Sagrado rolls up Black Warrior and Babe Richard counts to 3… by accident. Everyone stops. Richard says it’s over. Warrior says it was only 2. Sagrado celebrates a bit but then stops. Olimpico WALKS AWAY FROM THE MATCH TO THE BACK. Everyone left gets on the apron as if nothing happened and Sagrado whips Lizmark Jr. into the ropes, goes for… something… ends up just hugging him and rolling forward into an awkward submission while Babe Richard keeps signalling the match is already over. Warrior gets back in the ring and kicks Sagrado in the head. Both refs then give the tecnicos the match by DQ. Olimpico still doesn’t return.

All the CMLL supermarks will gladly erase that match from existence I’m sure.:)

  18. Holy fuck. The WON recapper might have been having a flash of the future when recapping the AAA clusterfuck last weekend…

    Dos Jr./Sombra vs Averno/Mephisto = ****1/2

Amazing match of the year candidate.

    Everyone needs to see this!

  19. Main was nothing to write home about but Bucanero and Guerrero are back together…

All is now right with the world.

  20. Is Killings really working that date? Shouldn’t he be working for WWE by then?

Ultimo Gladiador would be fine if he was facing Guapos who’d keep him at bay and only let him use his dives (there’s enough space at most AAA’s tapings for him not to land on some fan).

  21. Where has Juvi been since his feud with Fuerza ended?

I hope the XEJTV feed works for me tomorrow. Sucks that I missed that CMLL tag title match.

  22. Drug binges and singing in front of empty crowds.

I also hope the XEJ TV feed is up for AAA tomorrow. Curious to see if the AAA minis offer anything special considering their opposition is running wild.

  23. Poor Juvi. He needs a reality tv show. He should’ve done one when he was living with Luchaswag in San Diego. God, that wouldn’ve been CLASSIC.

  24. I think the Super Bowl might be airing on Canal 5 instead of Gala, so I guess AAA won’t be preempted.

  25. The line up was wrong on the lucha time page but right on the 1/19 link. Super Porky was in the main event.

  26. Henrik – With CMLL airing everything from Arena Mexico this weekend, there is a good chance the Azteca Jr./Flash/Neutron Coliseo segunda from tonight will show up on GdR next Saturday. That’s what happened last time they aired everything from Arena Mexico and the mini’s made a random appearence on GdR.

  27. “este joven milita en el peso welter/medio”

means that he’s part of the welter/middle weight division, not into the army, is just another instance of a verb having different meanings.
