AAA Mini Line - 05/12/07 (#624)
Recapped: 11/21/07

Video Package: A look back at Antonio Pena announcing the formation of AAA fifteen years to this day (it airs in the US), and Octagon, Angel Azteca, and someone I can't identify taking on Fuerza Guerrera, La Parka (original), and Killer three days later - in the arena they're doing this show.

On the Paint Ball Field: Mascarita Sagrada hangs out with valets.

Match 1: Mini Abismo Negro, Polvo de Estrellas IcO, Tormento Chino vs Erick Montana, Mascarita Sagrada, Pimpinela Escarlata (c)
Estadio Colon De Xalapa, 04/20/07

Winner: Tecnicos
Match Time: 14:18
Notes: So we've got random tall-ish locals mixed in this match. That probably won't go well. Mascarita has a big cast on his right wrist, but is wrestling anyway. This is a lesser version of the usual match as a result of those two things - Mascarita can do his headscissors but is obviously hurting other parts. Pimpi beats Polvo clean with a STF. Mini Abismo's mask accidentally comes off at one point.

Promo: Cinthia Moreno and Oriental talk about the Apaches getting a shot at the titles. Apache says he and his daughter are going to win the belts.

Match 2: Fabi Apache, Gran Apache vs Cinthia Moreno, Oriental for AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship
Estadio Colon De Xalapa, 04/20/07

Winner: Oriental and Cinthia Moreno, retain
Match Time: 16:32
Notes: Piero is the ref. Fans are still generally cheering Fabi. This is a bit slow early and turns into the Moreno's doing every finish they can think without getting the pin for a couple minutes later on, but it's still pretty fun. Fabi and Cinthia are left in alone after Gran Apache is pinned, and Cinthia complains after a two count where Piero obviously held up early. Cinthia slaps Piero, so of course Fabi immediately gets the German suplex and a snappy (though not really fast) count follows. By Piero standards, it was pretty clean. Fabi gets in a plancha to the floor on Oriental and Apache throws her back in so she can beat the count. Oriental follows and gets Fabi with a missile dropkick, but Gran Apache pulls out Piero to prevent the three count. Sexi Star runs down, swings a chair, and gets Piero when she meant for Gran Apache. Sexi Star slaps Gran Apache, and Cinthia dives onto him. Oriental lands a headstand splash, immediately goes for another , and eats knees. Fabi lands a missile dropkick, gets the double underhook faceslam, and covers, but there's no ref. There is Sexi Star, with the weakest chair swing/throw ever recorded. She really shouldn't bother using the chair if she doesn't feel comfortable with it. Sexi Star drags Oriental back, pulls Piero in, and leaves as Piero makes the three count. I'm glad I didn't spend write 15 minutes of pbp for that finish.

Fabi gets strechered out with a neck brace on, so maybe the chair shot just LOOKED weak but actually hurt a bunch. That's worse.

Promo: Alebrije and Cuije talk about the Vipers

Promo: Sect de Mesais is the greatest, according to Mesias. He may be biased.

Match 3: Cuervo, Ozz vs Charly Manson, Chessman
Estadio Colon De Xalapa, 04/20/07

Winner: Hell Brothers by CO
Match Time: 9:00
Other Match Notes: Ozz and Cuervo have the tag team belts. This probably should be a tag title match, but it's not. Hijo de Tirantes is ref. Rudos get the heat by throwing a chair into Charly's face as he's being boosted up for a dropkick. Looks very painful. Tecnicos get congtol back by throwing a chairs in the rudo's faces. There are moves in between, but they don't matter so much. Just when the HBs are about to powerbomb the Sect into oblivion, Mesais runs down and this them with chairs. Chair shots to the head for all the tecnicos. Hijo de Tirantes think about getting a DQ, but instead does what everyone else does, and watches Cibernetico sneak up on Mesias as he walks down the aisle. Escoria comes out to uneven the sides, telegraphed by Cibernetico looking for him before turning the other way to not se him. Zorro runs out and cleans house for a moment, but stops long enough for Manson to powerbomb Cuervo on the outside thru four chairs. Chessman spears Ozz off the apron and thru sparkly wood to complete the furniture destruction, and the HBs roll back in to beat the count. Cibernetico may have shoved in Chessman to make sure he made it.

Arturo notes the Sect still are tag champions. At leas they didn't get pinned, I guess. Cuervo gets stretchered out and looks in immense pain before hand. Yea for dumb stunts that mean nothing a week later.

Vignette: Laredo Kid blah blah blah blah

Noti AAA
- moment of applause for Antonio Pena
- We see La Parka getting X-Rayed and checked out by the doctor. He's still got all sorts of bruising on the arm and around the shoulder joint.

Vignette: Guapito hangs out with the ladies on the beach. Alan and Scorpio eventually catch up with him. Guapito orders them around to get drinks.

Promo: Cibernetico's turn at a random promo.

Vignette: Psicosis at the paintball arena.

Match 4: Alan Stone, Scorpio Jr. (c), Zumbido vs Crazy Boy (c), Joe Lider, Psicosis II
Estadio Colon De Xalapa, 04/20/07

Winner: Mexican Powers
Match Time: 14:28
Other Match Notes: Guapito has no ladies! Someone screwed up. Mexican Powers are dressed up like cowboys. Hijo de Tirantes is the ref. Guapos jump the MPs. Part of the beatdown is just hitting Crazy Boy in the head with hard objects - a chair, the mirror. This has no impact (except brain bruising, I guess.) Lider is wearing a full body outfit to cover up his gross back, so of course the top getting yanked down and he gets slammed into the glass left over from the mirror spot. Psicosis reveres a corner whip about 6:30 in to turn it around. Psicosis brings a ladder towards the ring, and throws it at Scorpio as he's standing in front of the crowd. Thankfully he catches it. MPs get all there stuff in, including multiple bits with Guapito. Lider does a horrible looking double jump clothesline/plancha thing on Scorpio, getting caught in the ropes on the way down. Crazy Boy tries a thru the ropes dive, but Alan cuts him off by throwing the ladder at him. Psicosis ends up doing a tope con giro onto the whole pile, and they all brawl thru the crowd for a while, so Crazy Boy can moonsault off the first deck. Scorpio beats up Lider with the ladder - they're the only two left in the ring, but Lider comes back and gets a legdrop off the ladder for the pin. It takes a few moments for the music guy to realize that was the finish.

Previously: Kenzo and Mesias beat up minis. Wow, a fight they could win without having numbers!

Match 5: Head Hunter I, Kenzo Suzuki, Mesias (c) vs Alebrije, Gronda II, Zorro (c)
Estadio Colon De Xalapa, 04/20/07

Winner: Tecnicos
Match Time: 15:00
Other Match Notes: Head Hunter has been eating well. Alebrije and Cuije have their belts. Both Piero and Pepe Casas are referees for this match. This match is so boring, they don't even bother to hide the clip during the beatdown. They just do a wipe transition. They leave the end game to Zorro and Mesias, which is the best of all possible options, and Zorro gets a surprise bodyscissors cradle for the upset win.

Backstage: Hell Brothers watch the endgame on a monitor. They discuss if Zorro is too loco to be brought in - he did beat Mesias, after all.

That's it.
