5) Charly Manson & Chessman vs Extreme Tiger & Halloween
6) Head Hunter I, Kenzo Suzuki, Konnan, Zorro vs Cuervo, Escoria, Mesias, Ozz

Projected Air Date – this is total guess territory, but the post does say this is for 2008.
Mexico: 01/13/08
US: 02/02/08

Such a weird show.

So the main event says the rudos have split into two factions, but I still expect someone them end up together. Maybe Mesias will get turned on, I dunno.

Chessman’s clearly falling from a high place (but that’s usual.) You know, if they wrestled that match straight, or at least much closer to it than the lightbulb tube breaking that I suspect, I might actually be looking for it. Instead, it’ll be all extreme and I’ll be fast forwarding.

Intocable vs the Night Queens is just going to be plain odd. So is the Bello Stones flipping back to the rudo side for no real reason, and Ishimori making another random appearance. I’m thinking the clowns in the segunda might just be the previous clowns, but we’ll see. Mini Charly is officially a tecnico. I wonder if Mascarita Divina will soon become a rudo?

Announced Future Dates
– none; they’re off till ’08.

12/04: Mistico, Toscano, Santo

CMLL

This post says Mistico was in a car accident last night. He suffered an ankle injury, but apparently it was minor enough that he wrestled later that night.

CMLL explained, to Notimex, Toscano was hurt last Thursday in Guadalajara. I have no idea who then worked on Sunday in Guadalajara, but let’s go with it. It’s a lower back injury, one that will only keep him out two weeks, but that’s enough to remove him from the end of year show.

El Hijo del Santo talked about his match at the WBC/CMB convention in Manilla to Notimex. Note that in this story, no one mentions the title belt is honorary. I’m not a big boxing fan, so it was only when I was watching the 24/7 specials last week when I realized Floyd Mayweather is part of the same promotion. (I think a unification match is order if Mayweather wins.) This article says Santo invited the WBC president to Todos X Todos, but I think he’ll surely have commitments in Las Vegas that night.

Ovaciones has interviews with Super Muneco and Mascara Sagrada. They both think they can win a mask match against their teammates (Fishman Jr. and Pentagon Black) if it comes to it.

All Tuesday Arena Mexico shows will be 2 for 1 from here on out.

Arturo Rivera mentions both Tiffany and Miss Janeth are new mothers. Congratulation to them. In other AAA hospital news, Cibernetico expects to get out today (new girlfriend Sabrina is there with him at the hospital) and La Parka should be home and rehabbing in a couple days.

AAA (SUN) 12/02 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [rfc]
1) Baby Fox & Scravos b Criminal & Iron Extreme
2) Aguila Extrema & Guerrero Blanco b Dranser & Virtual X
3) Fabi Apache & Mascarita Sagrada b Ayako Hamada & Mini Abismo Negro
4) Decnnis & Super Calo b Antifaz del Norte & Espíritu
5) Zorro b Alan Stone and Kenzo Suzuki [bull terrier]

AAA (SUN) 12/02 Plaza San Pedro, Puebla [morgan_alebrije @ box y lucha]
1) Amenaza Nortena L Triple X, Milenium, Gataca, King Vikingo, Sadico, King Dart, El Coronel [hair]
2) Joe Lider & Mexicano DQ Gallego & Mr. Cóndor
3) Alberije & Cuije b Chucky & Monsther and Guapito & Scorpio Jr. [AAA MASCOT TAG]
4) El Elegido, Estrellita, Gronda II DQ Histeria, Rossy Moreno, Sangre Chicana

Sangre Chicana replaced Mr. Niebla in the match, but Mr. Niebla did show and was the second for the trio team. His shoulder must be bugging him, but not so much that he can’t low blow Elegido. In the segunda, the Diabolicos got the DQed for hitting Joe Lider with a light tube. That’s a DQ now?

12/03: Mexico, End of the Year change, Santo, IWRG, Guadalajara, Leon, El Paso, lineups

CMLL (SUN) 12/02 Arena Mexico [ovaciones]
1) Calígula, Hooligan, Méssala b Sensei, Sombra de Plata, Trueno
2) Shigeo Okumura, Skandalo, Virus b Metálico, Stuka Jr., Tigre Blanco
3) Amapola b Marcela [CMLL WOMEN]
4) Ephesto, Mephisto, Misterioso II b Felino, Sagrado, Volador Jr.
5) Leono b Mr. México [hair]
6) Místico, Rey Bucanero, Shocker b Black Warrior, Lizmark Jr., Olímpico

That’s Leono’s fourth hair match win of the year! No one cares. To be fair, no one cared about Amapola’s title defense or the preview of the End Of Year main event; under 2,000 turned out for this show. When they announced the double hair match, I thought it would draw a decent crowd for the match but was worried about the crowd they’d get for the lead up. That seems to be happening.

Lizmark Jr. is officially taking Toscano’s place in the Sin Limite main event. Toscano is listed as out due to injury, though there’s a report linked later mentioning ex-Tarzan Boy wrestling in Guadalajara just yesterday. There’s a few other subs:

CMLL (FRI) 12/07 Arena Mexico
1) Amapola, Hiroka, Medussa vs Dark Angel, Luna Magica, Marcela
2) Felino, Super Nova, Valiente vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Virus
3) Dos Caras Jr., La Sombra, Sagrado vs Damián 666, Mr. Águila, Terrible
4) Atlantis, Averno, Último Guerrero vs Blue Panther, Místico, Negro Casas
5) el Hijo del Perro Aguayo vs LA Park
6) Rey Bucanero & Shocker vs Black Warrior & Lizmark Jr. [hair]

Hiroka replaces Mima, Luna replaces Sahori, Mephisto replaces Misterioso II, Sagrado replaces Volador Jr. Those all can’t be injuries.

El Hijo del Santo made the rounds for interviews with the lucha magazines this week, as last second hype for Todos X Todos. Things are obviously still in flux with the show; in the Super Luchas interview, Santo talks about possibly getting the show on CAN52 or Fox Sports or other networks. It’s since come out that the show will be on Televisa, the one network specifically not mentioned. Things change.

Santo doesn’t want us to take the shifting names in the mask tournament as a bad sign; he says he had 20 men ready to go for the match, plenty of backups he was happy with if others couldn’t participate for whatever reason. In the SuperLuchas interview, Santo reveals he wanted to get old partner Octagon on the show, but AAA refused to allow him to work the show. Of the people who’ve pulled out, the only two Santo’s upset with is Angel Blanco Jr. (no real reason specified, but I imagine it’s “you’re Angel Blanco Jr., you’ve got nothing better to do”) and LA Park (who was just using Santo to leverage a good deal from CMLL, Santo figures.) Santo says Dr. Wagner approached him about working the show, but when Wagner said he could only work the show if AAA guys did not, Santo figured he was still a enough of a CMLL guy that it wasn’t wroth trying.

When asked, Santo picked Fishman Jr., Lizmark, Pentagon Black and Blue Demon Jr. as possible losers.

IWRG (THU) 11/29 Arena Naucalpan [superluchas]
1) Judas el Traidor b Latin Brother
2) Trauma I & Trauma II b Gallo Tapatio Jr. & Kid Tiger
3) Black Terry, Cerebro Negro, Krator b Fabián el Gitano, Fantasma de la Ópera, Multifacetio
4) Bogeman & Negro Navarro DRAW Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. & Pierroth
5) Pantera, Ultraman Jr., Yamato b Damián 666, Hijo del Cien Caras, Villano III

Main event was supposed to build Negro Casas vs Villano III, the rematch, but Negro Casas wasn’t there and replaced by Yamato. Oops. Semifinal went DQ, DQ, DCO. Black Terry and Fantasma de la Opera still are feuding. Latin Brother was taken the hospital after a dive gone wrong.

IWRG (SUN) 12/02 Arena Naucalpan [ovaciones]
2) Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro b Captian Muerte, Cyborg, Xibalva [EdM TRIOS]
3) Fantasma de la Ópera b Black Terry [IWRG IC WELTER]

Both championships are retained. They’ve got to be doing a mask/hair match soon, I hope. There’s no Thursday IWRG show this week, or they’re being very quiet about it.

CMLL (SUN) 12/02 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [MedioTempo]
4) El Gallo b Mach 1 [mask]
5) Alex Koslov, Dos Caras Sr., Rayman DQ Terrible, Texano Jr., Toscano

I don’t know why MedioTiempo has started putting up occasional Guadalajara results, but it sure is great. Gallo lost the first fall but took 2 and 3. Mach 1 is Juan Crecencio Segundo, from Toluca, 19 years a wrestler. Terrible yanked Dos’ mask in the main event.

Show was on Saturday because Monday was booked for something else. Mistico beat Averno in the main event.

DELGADO (SUN) 12/02 El Paso, TX
1) Huniko b Rey America
2) Fuego & Rey Halcon b Asertijo & Atomo (local)
3) Nacho Libre & Spiderman b Rey Guerrero & Tiger Man
4) Nascar b Galactico [DELGADO]
5) Fishman Jr., Hurricane Hector, Rey Escorpion b Baby Solis, Magno, Vaquero (El Paso)

This was Magno’s third match of the day. Santo’s in next week.

This story has the headline “Blue Demon vs Blue Demon Jr., and yet has nothing to do with the wrestlers. Vastly disappointing.

The Globe and Mail has a two part story about going to Arnea Mexico and Arena Coliseo. Vampiro makes cameo appearances, and they give away Starman’s real name. He’s a trainer at a small lucha school.

Box Y Lucha has another video interview, this with Kato Kung Lee. He’s retired from the ring due to a blood clot. There’s also an Alex Koslov interview that’s a bit hidden.

Magazines
Box Y Luchas #2847 has bald, bloody Scorpio Jr.
– Super Luchas #241 has Averno with the belt, Cibernetico going thru a table on fire, and Mistico, Octagon and Atlantis together (at an awards show.)

11/02: GdT notes

Most of the news is additional details from Guerra de Titanes

– Ovaciones, via Arutro Rivera, reports Cibrenetico was hospitalized after the show. Mesias lit a table on fire and put Cibernetico thru it to retain the title. (video here.) Cibernetico was okay in the back for a bit, but later collapsed and was brought to the hospital and treated for first/second degree burns on his legs, back and chest. Marco Rivera posted Cibernetico’s out for fourty days, though he may only miss a week or two off TV with the way things work out. (So, by complete unfortuante accident, a Hell Brother will be selling a show ending injury.)

– Arturo Rivera says Electroshock and Charly Manson got into a fight after the show. Electroshock is said to have taken the worst of it, with one eye swelled shut. I assume this is an angle, because those two fued forever and a day.

– La Parka Jr. will undergo shoulder surgery on Monday. The Legion destroyed him up after the match, including Sabu giving him a chair senton.

– Mr. Niebla hurt a shoulder. Laredo Kid was still on crutches. Octagon took a martinete, so he may be out. Abismo Negro is due back in two weeks, and has dropped 15 kg (33 lb) in his time off.

Chui noted in the comments the next taping is 12/14 Chilpanicingo. Also, GdT airs in Mexico on 12/23, so my future episode projection looks okay, but the order may be off (see below)

Didn’t catch DeporTV before it got deleted. I’ll catch up with it whenever it gets posted.

Accion:

CMLL’s had highlights of the title match. They did a whole “La Mistica reversed into Devil’s Wings reversed back into La Mistica but Averno gets the ropes” sequence. Averno completely and totally pulled off Mistico’s mask as a La Mistica counter, covering him just in time to conceal what he had done from Babe Richard. I have no idea what this will do for business, but there were many rudo fans jumping up out of their seats in jubilation at the finish.

AAA was Cibernetico/Charly vs Electro/Zorro vs Cibernetico/Zorro from Toluca, which jumps a couple tapings. I guess they opted to skip around because this was the show they did for the Teleton and this was Teleton week – maybe the other shows will be in the usual order. Parka is only visible as hanging out on the apron, and getting shoved into the seats by Mesias late. Chesssman runs into blow mist at the other two, and the Hell Brothers get simultaneous wins (including Cibernetico beating Zorro again.)

11/30 AAA TV Results (Guerra de Titanes)

Previous Tapings: 11/15 (Xalapa), 11/19 (Leon), 11/22 (Toluca)

AAA TV (FRI) 11/30 Centro de Convenciones de Ciudad Madero, Tamaulipas [WiLLy_S @ Satanico’s Mansion]
1) Aero Star, Rey Cometa, Super Fly b Cuervo, Escoria, Ozz
2) Gran Apache & Mari Apache b Billy Boy & Fabi Apache and Espiritu & La Diabolica and Ayako Hamada & Mr. Niebla [AAA MIXED TAG]
3) Crazy Boy & Joe Lider b Charly Manson & Chessman and Extreme Tiger & Halloween and Sabu & Teddy Hart [AAA TAG, ladder]
4) La Parka Jr. & Octagón DQ Electro Shock & Kenzo Suzuki [MEX TAG]
5) Scorpio Jr. L Alan Stone, Super Calo, Intocable, Decnnis, Zumbido [cage, hair]
6) Mesias b Zorro and Cibernetico [AAA HEAVY]

Projected Air Date (#659)
Mexico: 12/23 (and 12/30?)
US: 01/12 (and 01/19?)

This is just off one poster’s (nicely detailed) results. Hopefully there’s more info to come from other sources.

Main event sounds like it turned into an elimination match, though I’m not totally sure. Cibernetico took out Zorro, the Sect ran down and helped Mesias beat Cibernetico. So the playoff turns out to be the same finish they’ve been doing all year. (Not sure if they did they revealed the Mesias/Konnan breakup was a fake, but that’d fit.) I don’t understand this decision at all, but they must feel there’s more mileage in this 18 month feud.

Order of escape from the cage match was Zumbido, Calo, Intocable and Decnnis. Alan beat Scorpio to take his hair.

Electro got his team DQed in the tag title match, fouling Octagon I believe. They did a big injury angle with La Parka Jr., and he should be out for a while.

Ladder match was a total US style spot fest. Charly Manson and Chessman were actually holding the ladder when Joe Lider climbed up to grab the belts at the end.

Before the mixed tag match, AAA announced Cinthia Moreno was unable to participate due to a spine injury. She and Oriental will get a shot at the titles win she’s healthy, and they were replaced by Espiritu and Diabolica. Apaches are new champions, so we’ve got lots more family feuding to come.

Air Force does want a shot at the Atomicos titles, but it wasn’t clear if it was accepted.

Announced Future Tapings
– none; it’s unclear if this means they’re done for ’07 or if they’ve just not got around to mentioning it.

12/01: Mexico, GdT, IWRG, AULL, lineups

CMLL (FRI) 11/30 Arena Mexico [ovaciones, ESTO]
1) Starman & Trueno b Apocalipsis & Loco Max
2) Euforia, Nosferatu, Satánico b Fabián el Gitano, Flash, Mascara Purpura
3) Alex Koslov, Rey Bucanero, Shocker b Black Warrior, Lizmark Jr., Nitro
4) Dos Caras Jr., LA Park, Marco Corelone b el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Héctor Garza, Texano Jr.
5) Averno b Místico [NWA MIDDLE]

Yes, he won. Averno’s now beaten Mistico three straight times. He’s the 85th champion, and Mistico is down to ‘only’ the IWRG Super Middleweight and CMLL Welterweight titles. This is title change #6 of the month.

Averno won the first fall, Mistico won the second. In the third, Euforia (as Averno’s second) distracted Babe Richard, and Averno yanked Mistico’s mask and pinned him. Ovaciones insists that Averno didn’t need to do that to win, for what it’s worth. Mistico was livid after the match, ripping up Babe Richard’s shirt for making that call. Mask vs Mask challenges, as well.

Park got away with a low blow on Perro to get his team the win.

Toscano is out injuried. Nitro replaced him in his match. ESTO says Lizmark Jr. would replace Toscano in next week’s hair match if he’s unable to wrestle next week.

Partial GdT results, via ovaicones and a second hand superluchas report (since the site isn’t coming up for me)

Black Terry got a little help from Fantasma de la Opera, who hit Cerebro Negro with a chair. Fantasma is saving Black Terry’s hair so he can win himself later on, we believe.

After losing, Pierroth challenged Negro Navarro to a hair match. Pierroth just lost his hair and is bald.

Trauma 2 and Golem got hurt in their match.
