Mascara got stretchered out after taking Averno’s finisher to end the tercera.

  1. I can upload the 8/17 Wagner/Guerrero match for you if you want since they are just going to re-do the same match anyhow.

Okumura worked the opener instead of Ramstein last night. Maybe Ramstein was still out celebrating his big win!

First two matches on Tuesday look fun.

1/4 show looks awful aside from the two opening matches.

6 DAYS TO PEQUENO REYES DEL AIRE!!!

  2. well i have the other amtch, thanks anyway=)

what about cmll on gala? the stream dosen’t work anymore?

  3. well the canal 28 show is very late for me (i live in israel, 11:05PM now)

if anyone can up for me the ME i be glad.

    thanks.

  4. A little bit harsh on next Fridays card Rob, it’s mostly just that godawful tercera which drags it down. Even before it has taken place, you just know that they could use that match as a form of torture. The best thing you could say for it is probably ‘at least it’s not women’ :-p

Tuesday show looks great in the sense that the segunda and tercera should be fun and will make TV, in the segundas case, featuring guys you never see. The less said about the semi the better (even with Valiente) – but after seeing Comando, Sombra De Plata, Sensei and Trueno, i won’t mind.

I gotsta see me some Super Tri/Super Cameleon though, i hope they’re good so that they move up to the occasional televised segunda. (although wouldn’t it be great if the matches involving Pierroth didn’t air, in the 4 match Tv show?!) :D

Today is a really shitty week to get a 3hr main show. Would be put to much better use next weekend – As it is, the Pequeno Reyes Del Aire will inevitably start about 30 seconds before the first elimination, probably skipping about 10 minutes of cool matwork and exchanges :(

BTW – does anyone have any info on the CMLL GDL show tomorrow? – i can’t find the lineup anywhere. I’m particularly interested because Neutron was there for Tuesday’s non-taping, and i’m kinda hoping he’s home for the holidays and shows up on tomorrows Tv taping also.

  5. Aw man, these mini’s matches are just soooo much fun!!

That’s 2 i’ve saw today and both of therm have been way better than any mens match i’ve saw in the past month or so!

They’ve got a pretty huge roster now (comparatively) and with every new guy you get a chance to see, todays showcase being Fantasy, it seems like every single one of them is really, really good at worst!

Damiancito 333 and Pequeno Halloween are especially awesome, even more so since they’re relative rookies.

2008 looks so bright for CMLL mini’s.

  6. That Cadena Tres mini’s match was AMAZING! The spots weren’t as insane as the two Friday matches but overall the match was much better. Each tecnico had multiple moments to shine, the rudos were brilliant and took some really sick bumps but still got their time to shine and there wasn’t a single fall that had a predictable boring by-the-book finish.

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again – imagine how much better CMLL TV shows would be with one of these every week or two?

I tried a new program to record the match but it didn’t work.:( Just spat out a 49 hour video file that won’t play for whatever reason.

“They’ve got a pretty huge roster now (comparatively) and with every new guy you get a chance to see, todays showcase being Fantasy, it seems like every single one of them is really, really good at worst!”

Yep, that’s the amazing part. These guys are SOOOOOOOOOOOO good and think about the guys we haven’t really seen at all or in a long time. Celestial, Electrico, Fire and Pequeno Violencia. We know the two rudos are amazing but I’m dying to see if those tecnicos are any good.

The Pequeno Reyes Del Aire should be 100mph balls out fun. I am so excited to see it!

As long as Cadena Tres sticks around and the weekend shows stick to their formula, 2008 could indeed be the best year for CMLL mini’s in ages.

This is also the first time ever that CMLL has had the better roster of mini’s than AAA. Right now it’s basically CMLL mini’s vs Mini Abismo Negro since AAA doesn’t have a single other mini worthy of comparison. No, I’m not forgetting Octagoncito.

Oh, that first shot of the tecnicos really magnified how tiny Mascarita Dorada really is. It’s funny coming off those two Friday matches where Dorada looked like a giant compared to his partners and in this match he looks like a dwarf teaming with his partners.:)

  7. Oh but here’s something that will make Henrik very unhappy…

According to a poster on El Martinete – the opener from last night’s Arena Mexico is airing right now.:)

Yep, out of all the weeks to show the opener… Apocalipsis and Okumura get to team.:)

  8. Wow. Apocolipsis :(

….. but also Sombra De Plata and Angel Azteca!! :)

Shame it wasn’t Los Romanos, Los Guillerors, or Polvoro/Vaquero (they badly need a team name btw!) as rudos, but we’ll take what we get. At least the tecnicos weren’t Chamaco Valaguez, Leono, Astro Boy (yeah, he’s sucked anytime i’ve saw him), or some Segunda level workers who we see every 2nd week anyway.

Besides, there’s always hope that it may be a sign of things to come rather than one of these ‘once in a blue moon’ occurences. Unlikely, but you never know :)

Woohoo, 2 Sombra matches in 2 weeks :D

  9. I already predict you’ll become an Astro Boy fan after next week’s Cadena Tres show.;)

I used to be a huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge Sombra De Plata mark so it’ll at least be good to see him but he’s always needed a rudo to work off and Okumura has never worked with these guys and Apocalipsis is… Koreano.:/

I attribute it airing to two things:
    1) Winter time = random matches
2 Garza’s injury probably made the main very short.

  10. Why does CMLL have a guy with a Striper Gimmick? I thought that was just AAA?

The mini’s match was awesome. Los Perritos Del Mal are so fun and Dorada rules. But this was the Fantasy show. Very impressed by him.

I loved Maximo going after the ring girls. I could live without most of his match involving comedy but whatever.

  11. NotiAAA gave away two tapings for this month, for 19 and 26 in Guanajuato and Teziutlan (sp?)

I guess that means they’ll have at least two best of 2007 shows.
