AAA TV #652, aired US 11/24, taped mostly on 10/18 (opener is 10/13 – I think)

This might have been the first 3 fall match since Rey de Reyes. I read recaps of AAA doing three fall matches at lots of spot shows, which seems strange – you want the product on TV and the product not on TV to match a little closer, but maybe they just figure this is what people who aren’t watching V expect.

Guapos/MPs match was okay, Night Queens/Exoticos were good, but I didn’t really get much into this show. The pre-match microphone talking in the main event went forever and the match itself barely happened, which is actually probably the smart thing to do (especially working with how they’re trying to hide Mesias’ injury at this point) but I can see how people who went this show might’ve been annoyed about it.

They teased Wagner vs Park for the finish, but it ended up being Silver King instead.

Final two teams were the Killer Family (Krimen, Sadico, Sepulturero) and the Dream Team (Psicopata, Terry 2000, Yakuza), who won the new belts.

Traumas have new gear and new masks which look completely different.

Ovaciones writes about tonight’s IWRG show, which celebrates 30 years of Arena Naucalpan, the return of El Hijo del Santo to the building after three years, and remembers Adolfo Moreno. If it wasn’t for the Santo Ban, I’d think you might see some CMLL guys get added to the card at the last second since many of them have connections to this promotion and Moreno. I supposed they’ll be there unofficially instead.
