12/15-17 Lucha Times

chart

AAA: A Christmas parade is scheduled for Saturday’s timeslot, and coincidentally repeats exactly where the overnight airing should be. Lucha de Vuelta is on the schedule, and we’ll presume the next episode airs there (Zorro vs Cibernetico, Zorro gets a title shot if he wins)

FSE-US: Fox Sports (Espanol) is running it’s award show Sunday night, in prime lucha time. They’ve moved lucha to the afternoon with a repeat overnight. Don’t have matches confirmed for this show, but it should be more Leono/Mexico build in the opener and the Villanos back together vs Koslov/Sagrado/Volador in the main.

Next week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, they’re repeating two episodes a night (at 8 and 9 pm eastern). All episodes are in one run from the spring which definitely will include Stuka vs Jeque’s mask match and has either Leono/Mogur’s hair match or Texano’s rudo turn. The descriptions were wrong for so long, it’s tough to figure out how accurate they are now, but that’s the general time frame.

CAN52: Back to the normal four airings. Terror/Virus vs Felino/Valiente/Super Nova (who could make two shows this weekend) in the opener, and the main is heavyweights + Volador. (I guess Texano’s a LH?)

————-

CMLL-MEX: No problem with Cadena3 running against this show this week, because the main show isn’t on till 7pm. 2 hour show, so probably 3 matches and no minis.

AAA-MEX: They’re finally just one show away from Guerra de Titanes. This one is the three way cage match.

FSE-Mex: Rudo Trueno in the main event!

Cadena3: top 3? I have no way of knowing at this point.

Cadenatres video feed

If you (still) have real player installed, check http://www.cadenatres.com.mx/videos/pro_n/transmision.php; I don’t know how I missed it before, but Victor found the streaming link.

Keith said this show should be on at 4pm on Saturday. I’m not sure if I’ll be around for that, but if you watch it, let me know (and see if you can capture a copy.)

Hopefully we don’t kill the speed on that link with a billion people checking it at once.

12/12: Mexico, Mini Cibernetico ’08

CMLL (TUE) 12/11 Arena Mexico
1) Calígula & Méssala b Rayo Tapatío I & Rayo Tapatío II
2) Ángel Azteca Jr., Leono, Starman DQ Dr. X, Loco Max, Nitro
3) Ohara, Shigeo Okumura, Skandalo b Fabián el Gitano, Metálico, Stuka Jr.
4) Damián 666, Misterioso II, Mr. Águila b Alex Koslov, Sagrado, Valiente
5) La Máscara, Marco Corelone, Shocker b Olímpico, Sangre Azteca, Último Guerrero

La Mascara beat Sangre Azteca with la campana and asked for a shot at the National Welterweight title. With Tuesday now being TV tapings, and cadenastres surely wanting feuds as much as anyone else, I think we’re going to see a more midcard title and hair feuds. It may be a good time to be a rudo with hair you’re not particularly attached to.

Leono replaced Trueno because I made fun of Leono yesterday. It’s all about vengeance. Starman got fouled in that match.

CMLL has announced the 01/04 (Fri) show will feature the 2008 Pequeno Reyes del Aire feud. Scheduled to complete:
– Mascarita Dorada
– Tzuki
– Bam Bam
– Shockercito
– Fantasy
– Pequeno Warrior
– Pequeno Halloween
– Pequeno Damian 666 (Mini’s title, last year’s winner)
– Pequeno Mr. Aguila
– Fire

That has possibilities.

Cibernetico is still being advertised for shows this month, including one next Wednesday in San Luis. The winner of the scheduled Mesias/Kenzo/Cibernetico three way wins a new Toyota car.

Crazy Boy hypes up his DTU “Descastre Total Ultraviolento” promotion, which will be running shows in Tulacingo starting this Friday. It sounds like they’re relying on internet word of mouth.
