11/25: Highlights

Arturo Rivera’s column has notes from the Toluca show.

Azteca America is back to forcing DeporTV to be autodeleted. Just to show how pointless that is, I grabbed the lucha highlights from the show, though I didn’t realize I didn’t get the sound till too late. Sorry about that.

It seemed to me like the finish they showed to the minis match was for one of the first two falls – neither man reacted like the title just changed hands.

Accion’s CMLL highlights were of the main event. As much Mistico/Avenro highlights as the other feuds, including the triple powerbomb to finish it. There’s not a big reaction to the outcome.

AAA’s highlights were oddly of Headhunter/Ozz/Anitfaz vs Porky/Elegido/Super Fly – this was the match where Elegido was taken out before it happened. He came out with a neck brace, and took a top rope splash from Head Hunter to cement his death. Teams are as weirder on TV than they read. Ozz’s tornillo seems to be backfiring 90% of the time, and Porky splashes Head Hunter and Antifaz for the win.

  1. Thank you! I much prefer these viewable flash clips over what goes up on the website.

Title match looked fun. Had to be the third fall finish b/c the commisioner came into the ring with the title for Damiancito afterwards. AWESOME FINISH by the way.

Sombra and Stuka’s dives were awesome.

    What aired on FSE?

  2. The expected.

Mr. Mexico, Okumura, Skandalo b Fabian el Gitano, Leono, Stuka Jr.
Felino, La Mascara, Sagrado DQ Mephisto, Misterioso II, Samurai Shiro

  3. Did anyone watch AAA yesterday on Galavision? Elegido was insanely over with that crowd in Aguascalientes. And that crowd was huge. It was funny seeing Joaquin Roldan, President/Owner/CEO/COO of AAA acting as security when Parka came to the ring. I also liked the security guard who grabbed a young girl by the leg as she tried to enter the ring to dance with Elegido. Girl took a hard fall.

I also liked the venue they did the “para mujeres” stuff from.
