Ovaciones doesn’t appear to be up today.

AULL (SAT) 11/17 Arena Lopez Mateos [The Gladiatores]

2) Amercian Machine, Robocop, Super Panda b El Federal II, Ice Killer, Misterio

American Machine is someone doing Love Machine. Today happens to be the 13th anniversary of Art Barr’s death.

Mano Negro fouled Villano III, which sets up their match this week. They’re doing a match as What If – “What If Villano III and Mano Negra had fought at the peak of their careers in a mask vs mask match?” This means they’ll be wearing their masks again.

Bucanero got his team DQed in the main event.

CMLL (SUN) 11/18 Arena Neza [The Gladiatores
1) Dr. Trauma & Iron Black b Ambar & Lobo Azul
2) Dark Devil & Hombra Bala Jr. b Bismart & Black Lancer

5) Flama Roja L Tony Rivera, Máximo, Rayo Tapatío II, Mascara Purpura, Chac Mol, Misterioso II, Shigeo Okumura, Ramstein, Sangre Azteca [hair, cage]

Order of exit from the cage: Mascara Purpura, Chac-Mol, Okumura, Loco Max, Sangre Azteca, Rayo Tapatio II, Flama Roja – and then came back, Tony Rivera – and then came back, Ramstein, Misterioso and then Tony beat Flama Roja.

Texano fouled Mascara. Rayo Tapatio I challenges for a shot at the Mohicano’s tag title after their win.

CMLL’s taken the unusual (for them) step of advertising who’s going to be on the End of Year show but not giving out the matches yet. Scheduled are Mistico, Averno, Ultimo Guerrero, Atlantis, Blue Panther, various Casas brothers, various Perros del Mal, and LA Park – who will be a tecnico. Huh. I suspect we’ll know the card in the couple days.

ESTO’s Friday notes columns mentions Los Dinamitas’ movie is postponed at the moment.

Last Sunday’s Arena Mexico lucha/music show will air on Telehit this Sunday

AAA #624

AAA #624, taped 04/20, aired 05/12

I really do not have much to say about this show, because I just zoomed thru it. Mesias took a clean pinfall here to Zorro, in case Bihari is still looking for the last time that happened.

This extended mixed title feud has been going on for over half a year, despite the champs winning every pairs match of note. It’s lucha. There’s not much else of relevance here.

Next gap to fill is in June.
