about that La Parka Jr. rumor

So I don’t really know what to do with this, except post it to acknowledge it and then debunk it. But after the link

On Sunday, a poster posted a photograph of a newspaper story which accused La Parka Jr. of kidnapping and raping a 13 year old girl. It’s my belief that this story is false, so much so that I didn’t want to put this on the front page – you can’t really unsay something like this, I’m only trying to mitigate the impact.

I haven’t been able to find this article on any website – not the Diaro de Xalapa which was photographed or the El Sol de Orizaba where it originated. There’s been zero follow up news articles about this case, which is hard to believe if this was accurate – this news broke 3 days ago, and should be everywhere by now if there were anything valid to it.

The details of the story posted don’t seem to make a lot of sense upon close examination. There’s also the distressing possibility that someone else was stealing La Parka Jr. identity and everything else is correct.

The consensus seems that there’s little to this. I haven’t seen AAA say anything about this, and wouldn’t be surprised if they felt it was better just to ignore it rather than give it undue attention.

  1. We should call hime Parkan Isn’t Parka supposed to be exotico?Polansky instead of Parka-ris now… I guess this is a sensasionalistic paper that just printed that like when the Nicho incident, and it will never have a follow up.

  2. I wonder if that could have been Parkita, I’ve heard stories of him doing stuff like this from friends down there.

  3. I only say this:

He is innocent until proven guilty.

And who’s to say it wasn’t a man in a La Parka mask?

  4. Canadian law takes origin from British law, so we too go by presumption of innocence. (just thought i’d throw that in…)
