11/12: Park back to CMLL, Coliseo, GNL

This weekend, CMLL.com announced LA Park will return to Arena Mexico on 11/30. This puts a knife in the Todos X Todos show, since (teased) Park/Santo was supposed to draw and Park’s not working that show if he’s back in CMLL. I don’t know if Todos X Todos will happen; it doesn’t have much of a chance of success unless they change the format.

CMLL (SUN) 11/11 Arena Coliseo
1) Tiger Kid & Trueno b Polvora & Vaquero
2) Lady Apache, Luna Magica, Marcela b Amapola, La Nazi, Medussa
3) Leono, Mascara Purpura, Stuka Jr. DQ Euforia, Mr. Mexico, Nosferatu
4) Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto b La Mascara, Sagrado, Ultimo Dragon
5) Damian 666, Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Mr. Aguila b Negro Casas, Shocker, Volador Jr.

So, we’re heading to a Shocker/Perro hair match as the main event of the End Of Year Sure. No, really! Perro may have been goofing around more with the camera people during this match.

Mr. Mexico fouled Leono in that match.

CMLL (WED) 11/07 Auditorio Miguel Barragan de San Luis Potosi [El Sol De SLP]
4) Alex Koslov, Dos Caras Jr., Máximo b Black Warrior, Loco Max, Sangre Azteca
5) Héctor Garza, Terrible, Texano Jr. b Lizmark Jr., Olímpico, Último Guerrero

CMLL LLA (SUN) 11/11 Gimnasio Nuevo Leon [RFC]
1) Angel Dorado Jr. & Beto Alcala b Black Soul & Voltaje Negro
2) Flecha Azul, Furor, Galactar b Regio Boy, Rey Apostol, Voltaje Negro
3) Bengali, Crazy Demon, Tacua b Hijo del Espanto II, Memo Valles, Pancho Tequila
4) Gitano, Golden Boy, Rey Hechizero b Orientale I, Orientale II, Tigre Universitario
5) Blue Panther & Dr. Wagner Jr. b Atlantis & Ultimo Guerrero

CMLL.com mentions Sunday Coliseo shows are moving to Arena Mexico on 12/02, so all the talk about the work getting done quicker seems to be wrong. (Also, all the talk about them already moving all shows to Arena Mexico is wrong – Sunday’s still in Coliseo till the end of the month.)

12/15 TNA Toreo de Cuatro Caminos changes: TNA now lists Mr. Aguila as wrestling, and not Mistico or Abismo Negro. They’ve got a month to keep changing their minds.

Arena Mexico will be accepting canned food for flood victims today.

ABC.es has a Q&A with a mask collector in Spain.

  1. CMLL must be really desperate to have LA Park back.

The TNA show in Arena Monterrey is suddenly saved by… Konnan Big!

  2. Even though Konnan Big and TNA are a perfect couple, I refuse to acknowledge that rumor.

It’s good that I’m not a fan of TNA, because a month of daily “[X] is on the card now! ([Y] is no longer on the card)” would turn me against them anyway.

  3. I wonder why CMLL is bringing LA Park back. To fuck with Santo? Fill the void of a top name left by Wagner?

  4. I lean more towards the Santito thing since he’s less of a name than Wagner right now (save TJ maybe). I think he might work CMLL, and then go to the Toreo show and end up in the same status as Konnan and Hijo del Santo as “they’ll never work this town again”… OK, Hijo will eventually work there again.

  5. Naturally Parka is being brought back to semi-main event the Year End show with Perrito vs Camera Man #1 in a hair match. C’mon, it’ll draw the same as Perrito vs Shocker. (which is ZERO)

You know, if Aguila knew he had a shot at getting on a future TNA card, it would explain BIG TIME why he has had such a resurgence over the past couple months and turned into such an exciting worker like he used to be.

  6. No way they’ll give us Perrito vs Camera Man #1 right away, they still got #2 through #8 to spend time with.

  7. Besides LA Park, Garza and Villanos will be back at ArMex as well, things don’t look bright for next December…

Best thing they could do is simply book Park as a tecnico and team him with Mistico pretending those past 18 awful Park’s month never happened, but CMLL bookers are so bright they will team him with Perro’s, a team no one cares about anymore.

Hector Garza being pulled out of losing his hair at the last second in Arena Monterrey probably means he’ll drop it at ArMex. I guess CMLL is still uniterested in him so the natural progression would be Perros to lose the CMLL trios title, and then Garza losing his hair, probably in a parejas or 4 way match to tease a bigger thing going on.

So, my End of Year prediction:

Shocker vs Perrillo vs Garza (loses to Shocker, of course)

Atlantis and Ultimo Guerrero lose to Villanos IV and V the CMLL tag team belts.

LA Park (assuming he doesn’t show up at Todo x Todo), Mr Aguila / Damian vs Marco Corleone, Alex Koslov & Rey Bucanero

+ 3 filler matches. The attendance and ratings will drop even lower and they’ll come up with a stupid excuse like “AAA killed Lucha Libre” or something.
