Live result threads besides the audio
Satanico’s Mansion
box y lucha

1) Metalico, Stuka Jr., Valiente b Euforia, Loco Max, Nosferatu
– I think, not sure, but the announcers mentioned it. This post seems to say so.

2) Dark Angel, Luna Magica, Marcela b Amapola, Hiroka, Princesa Sujei
–1) Tecnicas
–2) Rudas
–3) Tecnicas

Valiente’s being interviewed by the announcers. He seems to be fence sitting on the main event.

3) La Mascara, Ultimo Dragon, Volador Jr. vs Misterioso Jr., Texano Jr., Virus
–1) Rudos
–2) Tecnicos (with help from Que Monito)
–3) Tecnicos (La Mascara beats Virus with La Campana)

4) Alex Koslov, Sagrado, Sombra b Ephesto, Sangre Azteca, Toscano – entrances
–1) Tecnicos
–2) Rudos
(Cubs win the division HERE and I get distracted by people pouring liquor on each other)
–3) Tecnicos (Toscano yanked Sombra’s mask for the DQ)

5) Marco Corelone, Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero b Averno, Mephisto, Olimpico
–1) Rudos
–2) Tecnicos
–3) Tecnicos (CO after Corelone wiped the rudos out with a dive)

That’s 5 tecnico wins. Hmmmmmm.

Dance number in between matches. They don’t have enough time for matches! (Oh, right, they’re putting up the cage.)

On Now
6) Mistico vs Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Villano V, Dr. Wagner Jr., Ultimo Guerrero, Hijo de Lizmark, Blue Panther, Atlantis [cage, hair, mask]
Order of entrances

Villano V
Blue Panther
Hijo de Lizmark
Atlantis
Ultimo Guerrero
Dr. Wagner Jr.
Perro Aguayo Jr.
Mistico – starts to get booed (maybe 65/35 for him) and the announcers talk over it.

Mistico big plancha – CHECK!

We’re into the time killing while waiting for the cue to split.

Order of exit
1) Villano V!
the guy who isn’t Julio Cesar and isn’t Valiente is sounding like he’s going to run out of oxygen at any time.
2) Atlantis, leaving UG behind
3) Dr. Wagner Jr.

Mistico big dive #2

4) Ultimo Guerrero
5) Mistico

Perro Jr., Lizmark Jr. and Blue Panther remain. It appears it will be a triangle match from here, which is different – Babe Richard is entering the cage.

6) Perro Aguayo wins his way out.

Holy carp, Blue Panther vs Lizmark Jr. really is your anniversary main event. I hope CMLL doesn’t make me very sad in the next five minutes.

7) BLUE PANTHER MAKES LIZMARK JR SUBMIT!

Lizmark Junior’s stats:
Name: Juan Carlos Baños
Experience: 16 years
Hometown: Acapulco, Guerrero

I’ll post show reports links here if they turn up in the next couple of hours. Otherwise, see you tomorrow and thanks for reading.

  1. Down to Mistico vs Ultimo Guerrero vs Blue Panther vs Lizmark Jr. vs Perro Aguayo Jr. now.

I’d say it really doesn’t look good for Lizmark Jr. barring a huge swerve.

  2. “”””””””””
the guy who isn’t Julio Cesar and isn’t Valiente is sounding like he’s going to run out of oxygen at any time.
    “”””””””””

It was much worse with the commentary team doing Rey del Ring at IWRG

  3. I don’t thin it was wise for CMLL to have Wagner leaving that soon… I won’t rule out VV returning, AAAesque or not.

  4. Wow, the announcers just said it will be a triangle match.

La Mistica on Perrito in the cage makes no sense…

  5. They sure are teasing Panther losing big time here but unless they AAA it up and have someone return, this looks like Perrito over Lizmark Jr., right?

  6. Perrito escaped…

Blue Panther vs Lizmark Jr. – Mask vs Mask!

Guess the original main event will happen after all.

Oh god don’t let Lizmark Jr. unmask Panther…

  7. Baños.

Match sounded pretty much a usual match with Panther selling and making this to seem to have him as the underdog, but CMLL dumbness actually played on its behalf making it sound exciting (I bet it was also worth the experience live)

  8. It really sounds like they are turning Lizmark Jr. tecnico again with this post-match love-a-thon. I wish it was just a retirement party for him…

  9. Good job with the updates, cubs! And congrats to your team! Hopefully they go deep.

Now can we talk about the real excitement? Waiting for next week’s lineup! I have a feeling the mini’s could be third up at Arena Mexico with Mascarita 2000’s debut!

  10. I hope CMLL books a cage match with Wagner, Mistico, Perrito, Atlantis, Guerrero, Santo, Panther and Zayco for the year end show so we can really test that theory out.

  11. Apparently, Valiente gave Panther’s and Lizmark Sr names away… that’s what you get from inviting guys over… I didn’t listen since I gave up when I found out the results were poping up here earlier.

  12. I didn’t hear it but who knows.

I can’t wait for Super Luchas to update since they promised a full recap tonight w/ photos.

  13. I think SKY video captures should start poping up, unless everyone is so happy that they go out to party all night…

  14. So the show ran exactly three hours I guess. It was 12:20 am when the main ended. Not sure when it actually started b/c I was not home yet.

  15. Now we can go back to that ticketmaster main event listing… Blue Panther is turning on Mistico? Atlantis will make the save?

  16. You’ve been holding out on us, Chui. I just saw the semi-main from last week and it was really fun. Aguila has been on FIRE the past two weeks, doing stuff that he only did in 97/98. Sombra/Volador are great together. Sombra especially has been hitting all his stuff great and is doing really neat innovative stuff. I really want to see a trios titles match if it’s not too late for that feud. Shocker was actually slowing the match down big time. Still liked the match with Purpura from the week before better but this was a really good showing.

  17. I think Volador looked too clumpsy, like if he’s afraid to hurt himself again… oddly, the dives were alright but the exchanges…

BTW, I didn’t get the Fuerza Aerea match from last tv show, well, I got it but it was a 0 kb file, I was intending to up that but I guess we’ll have to wait it airs on US Gala.

  18. Next week’s lineups are up already and are not what Tickermaster advertised…

    No rest for Mistico.:(

‘Reyes Del Aire’ again? Looks like the ‘C’ team though… SKANDALO??? WTF??? Surely Valiente is winning that match. He looks to be getting rewarded for something as he’s working his highest match ever at Arena Mexico teaming with BUCANERO and Volador Jr.. My how the mighty have fallen or how the nobodies have risen… taken your pick.:)

No Mascarita debut but Tzuki is around! YAY!

Semi at Arena Mex looks fun. If they air the top 3 I’ll be happy.

  19. I liked the Ticketmaster match better, since Mistico is being booed, it doesn’t really make sense to have Atlantis as a rudo, they should make him a tecnico -won’t be as booed as Mistico anyways-, make the original GdI as a unit “no more mentoring or friends with anyone”, Wagner rudo, and run with it.

  20. In something veeery unusual (thanks to the show being on PPV, I say), El Siglo de Torreon has the match on its cover!! And, of course, a Blue Panther taking Liz’s mask!

  21. Man is it me or did Mistico get the John Cena treatment tonight?
    “””””””””””””””

That’s nothing new, maybe it is Cena the one who’s getting “the Mistico treatment”.
