09/14-16 Lucha Times

AAAUS: the AAA Heavyweight Titles Tournament begins. You figure it out.

FSEUS: Speaking of Heavyweight Titles: DOS JR. VS LIZ JR.

CAN52: New Infernales and cage match feuding in the main event.

AAAMEX: the taping from this past weekend we still haven’t heard results from. Did Ricky Marvin wrestle? Did they really have another cage match? (I’ve got to count those things up for this year at some point.) TV listings have this as a two hour show, so something are going to get cut out. I would start with the Mexican Powers vs Sect/Legion, but I’m cruel that way.

CMLLMEX: For some reason, this show has 2:45 listed. This would be great if they had undercard feuds to build up. You know, if I was in charge, I’d air the last Purpura/Emilio match here as well as part of a hard sell for the bonus Arena Mexico show the next day.

FSEMEX: Emilio/Purpura will air here, that’s for sure.

  1. Marvin said yesterday that “I’m leaving for Mexico tonight”, so I guess he didn’t work in Chihuahua, should be here already so it might be possible for him to work Dolores Hidalgo but he’s not booked there.

  2. Anthony asked about Elegido’s theme. Chui gave him Ven Bailalo, but what I want to know is the music he comes out to before Ven Bailalo comes on.

Also I’ll throw out the request for Gronda II’s theme again. If anybody can figure that one out for me, you’ll be in my good graces forever.

  3. I’ve always wanted to know the music that plays before Elegido’s dancing music kicks in but was told it’s just generic music that’d be impossible to track down.

  4. If Elegido’s opening music is used in Dance Halls and Discos then there’s hope in finding it because those establishments usually don’t use generic music.

  5. The part Chui linked to was just the opening words that are spoken, not the cool dark part that follows afterwards as he comes down the aisle.

  6. I thin every DJ comes up with his/her own version, but I guess the one AAA uses was released somewhere, I don’t think it is custom made.
