09/14-16 Lucha Times

AAAUS: the AAA Heavyweight Titles Tournament begins. You figure it out.

FSEUS: Speaking of Heavyweight Titles: DOS JR. VS LIZ JR.

CAN52: New Infernales and cage match feuding in the main event.

AAAMEX: the taping from this past weekend we still haven’t heard results from. Did Ricky Marvin wrestle? Did they really have another cage match? (I’ve got to count those things up for this year at some point.) TV listings have this as a two hour show, so something are going to get cut out. I would start with the Mexican Powers vs Sect/Legion, but I’m cruel that way.

CMLLMEX: For some reason, this show has 2:45 listed. This would be great if they had undercard feuds to build up. You know, if I was in charge, I’d air the last Purpura/Emilio match here as well as part of a hard sell for the bonus Arena Mexico show the next day.

FSEMEX: Emilio/Purpura will air here, that’s for sure.

luchawiki feature addition

If you check out any of the category pages, like

http://www.luchawiki.org/index.php?title=Category:Mexican_wrestlers
http://www.luchawiki.org/index.php?title=Category:Canadian_wrestlers

You’ll see a box on the top right side, with “Create an article to this category”. It does what it says – you just type the name of the wrestler, and it’ll create a page for it with the bioFields template, a gallery template for pictures, and the category you started with. (It does all of this regardless of the page you’re trying to create, so it’s not especially helpful if you’re creating a move page or other things.)

Hopefully this helps new people starting pages, being a more obvious place to start. I figure it’ll also save some time tracking down the templates for people who make new pages often.

Ovaciones has an interview with Juvi about Verano de Escandalo. Juvi also mentions he’ll be promoting a show on 11/17 (which explains why that card is up on AAA’s website already. The goal is to promote monthly shows in that building. In other things I have trouble believing, Juvi says he’s working on a CD of heavy metal and reggae music.

This interview coincides with the debut of Juvi’s new website, http://juventudgx.com. As it is a wrestler’s site, you’ll notice the enter link on the left side doesn’t work and other links inside let to pages saying “Coming Soon!”

El Siglo de Torreon writes about Indio Chirikawa, who training 8 to 15 year olds in the basics of wrestling at Auditorio Municipal.
