cmll

CMLL (SUN) 09/09 Arena Neza [Heri 99 @ box y lucha]
1) Hermano Muerte III b El Renegado
2) Rayo Tapatio I & Rayo Tapatio II b Ramstein & Zayco
3) Pequeno Damian, Pequeno Halloween, Pequeno Mr. Aguila b Bracito de Oro, Electrico, Pequeno Olimpico
4) Angel Azteca Jr., Super Nova, Tony Rivera b Caligula, Dr. X, Messala
5) Arkangel, Atlantis, Euforia b Dr. Wagner Jr., La Mascara, Valiente

Atlantis fouled Wagner, yanked his mask, and rolled him up for the win. Usual challenges after. Bracito de Oro and Pequeno Damian are feuding.

CMLL (THU) 09/13 Arena Neza
1) Molotov & Tiger Kid vs Vaquero & Zayco
2) Bam Bam, Electrico, Pequeno Olimpico vs Pequeno Damian 666, Pequeno Halloween, Pequeno Mr. Aguila
3) Leono, Meteorix, Valiente vs Colmillo Blanco, Ephesto, Ramstein
4) Mistico, Negro Casas, Sombra vs Averno, Dr. Wagner Jr., Sangre Azteca

CMLL (SUN) 09/16 Arena Neza
1) Rayo Tapatio I & Rayo Tapatio II vs Polvora & Ramstein
2) Celestial, Electrico, Pequeno Olimpico vs Mini Damian 666, Mini Halloween, Mini Mr. Aguila
3) Angel Azteca Jr., Super Nova, Tony Rivera vs Caligula, Dr. X, Messala
4) Dr. Wagner Jr. & La Mascara vs Atlantis & Sangre Azteca

Or maybe they’re not feuding, with the lack of a followup.

AAA (SUN) 09/09 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC]
1) Iron Xtreme & Panteria del Ring II b Dr. Cianuro & Dranser
2) Aguila Extrema b Mercurio, Criminal [bull terrier]
3) Guerrero Blanco & Iron b Monje Negro Jr. & Virtual X
4) Rey Infernal & Sangre Chicana b Tigre Cota & Viper 007
5) Hator, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido b Alan Stone, Elegido, Hombre Sin Miedo

indy (TUE) 09/18 Arena Coliseo Monterrey [RFC]
1) Burrito vs Borrico, Rey Cazador
2) Corazon Adicto vs Guerrero Griego
3) Cazador, Ejecutor, Tormenta Negra vs Dr. Tormenta, Mr. Secuestro, Sika
4) Black Dragon, Humberto Garza Jr., Stuka I vs Herodes, the Beast, Toro Blanco
5) Casanova vs Bam Bam (local), Golden Bay, Estrella Dorada Jr. [La Copa Coliseo 2007]

Medio Tiempo previews Mascara Purpura vs Emilio Charles Jr.. They note this is Emilio’s first match in Arena Mexico in two years. According to my notes, his last match in Arena Mexico is August 20th, 2004, so it’s now three years. He hasn’t been a regular there since fall ’03. Another MT article seems to say Black Warrior is back full time.

Magazines
Guerreros del Ring #105 has Villano V on the cover. Oddly positioned V.
Super Luchas #229 is highlights by the Japan coverage: both the AAA NOAH show and Michinoku Pro participation

Mesias was all over the next weeks of TNA tapings last night. You can find spoilers elsewhere, but they’re doing stuff with him.

20 thoughts to “09/11: Neza, Monterrey, magazines”

  1. Although the 9/28 PPV is not what I was expecting, I’m still thinking of going. I really wanted to see a singles mask match, but, oh well.

    I’m thinking of doing 9/28 ArMex, 9/29???, 9/30 Coliseo, and 10/1 Puebla.

  2. heh The other person I found out was thinking of going had major second thoughts when the card was released.:P

  3. I already began with the 12/16/06 Arena MTY show. I’ll do the rest for sure, just depends when. Gotta get through the newer AAA/CMLL/IWRG first and only halfway done thus far. I’ll mix and match though.

  4. Esto which is usually correct lists Stuka Jr. instead of Mictlan for Friday’s segunda which is an obvious improvement.

  5. I’ll be looking for to your reviews with AAA back at Coliseo MTY, and young Figueroa at the mic. I liked the AAA reviews.

  6. Is Robertito the young looking kid sitting on the left during those stupio segments?

BTW, while I have a moment I’d like to mention I think it’s pretty low of AAA to try and draw based on the fact a lot of Mexicans are religious. I just read Christ will be appearing in a match at Verano. Talk about cheap heat…

  7. I guess that is Robertito… baseball is over now but now the local Multi Medios is airing local Basketball!!! Why they don’t air a local LLaves y Candados? I bet they would have higher ratings for that…

I don’t think Christ would be that much of a draw in Gdl, they would be better with San Judas Tadeo, San Juan de Los Lagos, two or three virgins or god himself…

  8. Yeah, that’s Robertito. He also does the radio show on La Deportiva.

It’s a shame Multimedios does not show Lucha in Torreon. I watch Multimedios on JUMPTV. Futbol al Dia, Telediario, and La Aficion are the only good shows. MM is doing some kind of promotion on La Caliente in Torreon for a show with Wagner at the fair. MM will probably be a Telemundo affiliate by next year.

  9. AAA booked Christ? He should job to Banderas and be put in a Volcano. Then he should come back without a scratch.

  10. 1: Who the Christ, other than the one who is our Lord and Saviour?

2: Mesias finisher is either a Spear or the STO.

3: I still find it crazy to see Alan Stone and Intocable, 2 guys with the same gimmick, teaming.

  11. Although it would have to be noted that for Mexicans, Christ is just another word, it’s El Cristo over here.

  12. Someone obviously has a much higher opinion of Chris Stone’s work than most of us. It surely wasn’t cubs who made that poster…
