06/29: Mexico preview

ESTO/Valiente not being in this means he’s losing

CMLL (FRI) 06/29 Arena Mexico
1) Fabian el Gitano & Metalico vs Apocalipsis & Hooligan
2) Dark Angel, Diana La Cazadora, Luna Magica vs Amapola, Hiroka, Mima Shimoda
3) Negro Casas & Stuka Jr. vs Dos Caras Jr. & Valiente and Dr. Wagner Jr. & Mascara Purpura and La Sombra & Mistico and Super Comando & Villano V and Flash & Marco Corelone and Euforia & Ultimo Guerrero and Heavy Metal & Super Nova [gran alternativa]
m) Lizmark Jr. vs Blue Panther

Both NotiMex and ESTO run previews based off yesterday’s Heavy Metal press conference. ESTO also has words with the GA particpants and pretends to be interested in the main event. They bring up Blue Panther’s big feud with Love Machine, and this is so not Blue Panther’s big feud with Love Machine. It’s a match.

The WWE Mexico press conference went on without Rey (or anyone from the crew). They hope to do another press conference before the start of the tour, when people might be available.

La Opinion Digital talks to Psicosis II, before he goes off on the Warped Tour. He mentions his father was also a wrestler, which I haven’t heard before.

Isela, one of the CMLL valtes, finished 8th in Miss Bikini of the Universe. She had previous won Miss Bikini Latina.

CMLL (MON) 07/02 Arena Puebla [hugo999]

2) Black Terry, Cerebro Negro, Espiritu Maligno vs Batman, Centella de Oro, the Tiger

  1. Then, how come Shocker is still in CMLL?

I think the Liz Jr to Love Machine relation is that “they got into a fight backstage”.

  2. Euforia looks cold.

And Stuka looks like he needs some dress sense tips :D

Anyone else intending to try and avoid spoilers until tomorrows TV show?
That is my intention, thoughi probably won’t have the willpower. And if i do, no doubt it will turn out to be one of those weeks of no signal or still pictures :(

    C’mon Comando! :)

  3. Super Nova is dressed to win!

Valiente couldn’t appear b/c promoters all over the country want him and he has no time!

I’m not avoiding spoilers but I guess I’ll have nobody to discuss them with anyways.:(

Interesting Puebla card with Flash in the tercera… okay… I know… no chance.:)

Sombra is pulling the disapearing act next week thus far so if they go via the route of Mistico’s win in 2004, Sombra should be winning tonight.

  4. Only spoiler we need to know:

Every match will be short and rushed, consisting only of the finishers and possibly post match angles.

  5. I’ll never forget the hilarity of last year’s opening match with Negro/Maximo vs Garza/HSN. Barely a 1 minute comedy spot with Garza/Maximo, tope suicida on Garza, Negro lets HSN give him a shoulderbreaker and gets pinned. THAT WAS A MATCH. It set the tone for a night of disapointing matches.

Hell, if you go through the archives I did a PBP of the TV show since the matches were so short it was easy to remember everything.
