06/10: Perro wins, Accion, FSE

As expected, Perro Aguayo Jr.(/Mr. Aguila’s) team won the contest on Los Cinco Mangificos. They were down on points last week, and I’m not sure how they did there this week, but they easly won the votes – 42,000 to 25,000 according to the thread on ByL. The winning team gets a donation to a charity; I believe Perro’s was AIDS research.

Accion:

CMLL: LdP Final, of course. It looked okay in the 15 seconds of highlights they showed. Both Mistico and Aguila went for handsprings in the end, but Mistico locked on La Mistica and that was it.

AAA: Elgido/Alebrije/Porky vs Psicosis/Kenzo/Head Hunter I – odd pick. Oh, because Head Hunter killed Cuije with a splash. Porky get in his revenge splash, but Psicosis still ended up winning with a top rope senton. Psicosis still appears to be wearing his Mexican Powers gear, but with a black t-shirt.

CMLL FSE #43
06/03: Brillante Starman, Trueno, Valiente b Apocalipsis, Ramstein, Súper Comando
06/03: Mascara Purpura, Maximo, Volador Jr. b Satanico, Texano Jr., Virus

If you had asked me “Which will happen first, Super Comando actually makes TV in a full match or the Latin Lover argument in the comment ends?”, I totally would’ve lost. Not that I have any hope of that argument dying. First time no Mexico match on either B show in two months.

  1. That looks like quite the fun show if you ask me. But wasn’t it Starman, not Brillante?

  2. Oh man, Alexis just said next Sunday is Diana La Cazadora against La Amapola – Hair vs Hair! I have a strange fascination with seeing a singles match involving Diana, not to mention Amapola being shaved bald.

  3. It was Brillante Jr, called Sombra, I saw it… well, part of it, I had other things to do…

Amapola is winning this one… yeah right… at least I hope she wins lots of cash, maybe she’s marrying or pregnant or something… a new masked gimmick overseas?

  4. I am so confused now b/c the photos of the match had Starman wrestling. Maybe he was instead of Trueno?

  5. No wait… Trueno is in the photos. Brillante/Sombra wasn’t in that match unless it was four-on-four somehow…

  6. Mmmm… I just saw the show rundown they do at the start, maybe the actual match was changed, but I doubt it, I also saw the pre-match interviews…

  7. I guess Cubs will confirm. The photos on cmll.com show Starman, Valiente, Trueno, Ramstein and Super Comando. No Apocalipsis although I doubt they put Sombra as a rudo.

  8. I saw Apocalipsis walking in…

hehe, I just want to get to 10 post without starting a Latin Lover argument… XD

  9. Yea, Starman instead of Brillante/Sombra.

The rudos got introduced first, and I checked out after seeing Super Comando, figuring I’d seen it all. (And the Cubs game was still ongoing.) It did say Starman in the open, but I must’ve missed it.

  10. >Oh man, Alexis just said next
    >Sunday is Diana La Cazadora

    >Hair!

    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

(aside: why do a hair match with no build?)

I can only assume Amapola wanted to prove she’s the best women’s wrestler in all of Mexico and decided to set a high degree of difficulty.

  11. >(aside: why do a hair match with no build?)

It’s father’s day, why would one need a reason?

  12. Amapola cheated to pin Diana last week and I guess she did it again last night. As you can see, the CMLL bookers put a lot of thought into these feuds!

Why doesn’t Dark Angel get to take Amapola’s hair? It’s not like she can win either of the belts, might as well give her one big win.
