Something’s up with Abismo, because he missed this taping as well. The recap says “the Sect” replaced him in the match, so maybe that should more or different people – I’ll fix it when AAA throws up the results on their site. I’m sure everyone ran in, and Charly got in the last shot to help his team.

Somehow, even though the announced mystery partner was on the Sect’s side, Extreme Tiger ended up being a mystery partner with the Mexican Powers. He’s the newest member of the group – it was pretty obvious he was either going to be teaming with them or fighting against them, so they keep doing their style of matches and absolutely nothing else.

On the last taping, Gran Apache got busted open against the Air Force. He and Calo destroyed Laredo and Super Fly here, losing the match only because of excessive violence.

Mr. Niebla also seems a bit MIA; Psicosis II filled in for him in the fourth match. Estrellita might have gotten hurt on a Fabi Apache suplex.

  1. Why is Charly manson teaming with guys like Elegido? I remember a couple months ago the Hell brothers attacking Elgido. Doesn’t he want revenge?

It seems that AAA is losing some steam with their un-ability to set something for AAAMania and stick to it, lots of random booking for now, I doubt anyone will even address the HB beating on Elegido at all.

My main complaint with AAA right now is that they have forgot about Guapos, I think logic would have called for an Intocable vs Alan Stone hair match for AAAMania, in a spot similar to Billy-Apache. Then they would only have to worry about the main event, but after Guapito’s introduction, they are gone from TV.

  3. Well I would think the card for Triplemania would be:

    Calo/Apache/Dennis/Alan vs Billy Boy/Super Fly/Laredo Kid/Nemisis

    Sexy Starr vs Fabi Apache

La Secta vs Mexican Powers in a gimmick match. Mostly likely Ladder or deathmatch

    Fuerza Guerrera/Psicosis/some viper vs Juvi/elegido/Albrije

    Porky/Intocable/charly manson vs Los Guapos

Hairs/Mask vs Hairs: Loser of the fall loses hair or mask

Mesias/Abismo/Espirtu/Kenzo vs Zorro/La Parka/chessman/Cibernetico ( This could be the Parka turn but i’m having doubts about it now.

    I got a AAA question:

    Whatever happened to porky Jr.?

  4. Yeah, it is time for Alan Stone vs. Intocable hair stip match. But they never seem to be able to pull off the big stip matches in AAA.

By now, they should know the date and location of TripleMania. I know they talked about Arena Monterrey, but it’s a “real” arena, something AAA never rents. In 15 years, they’ve yet to run Palacio in Mexico City, so I’m guessing Cd.Madero or Toreo for Mania.

I’m sick of the six-sided ring. This weekend AAA had a regular ring, and the workrate seemed better. But the six-sided should not used any more.

  5. According to the latest WON, they have decided TripleMania will be on 7/15. Nothing new on the venue other than what we have heard.
