They probably did one too many wacky spots in Reina de Reinas, but at least they were trying to do something this year, instead of a time killing battle royal. Not that I mind seeing Lady Rabibit, but I kinda don’t get the point of bringing in women for this match (and the cibernetico CMLL did) – everyone knows the people in for one night are not only going to lose, but going to lose quickly, and the match doesn’t mean more for including 14 or 16 women instead of the 10 or 12 who might matter a little bit. Here, at least the amount of people allowed to stretch comedy spots to ludicrous degrees.
I like Tiffany winning it, not because it’s going to go anywhere, but because Tiffany’s gotta be on TV at least every other week by law (it seems), so at least the win will be brought up again.
Main event was all kinds of dumb, but what did I expect? All kinds of dumb.
I’m done with 20 minute Guapo matches that aren’t mostly repeats with a screwjob ending leading nowhere. Did we ever get the Mascot Tag match out of this? I believe no.
