I don’t know that this means anything

but…

There does seem to be a fresh round of Mistico/WWE rumors floating around again, though they seem to be nothing firmer than “wasn’t this about the deadline for him to go” queries (and I don’t even know if that’s true.) It got me thinking about Ovaciones’ recap of the Arena Mexico show, and how they super hyped the significance of a seemingly insignificant trios match. Like, say, this line:

La noche de ayer terminó el reinado de Místico. ¡El rey ha muerto… Viva el rey!

which google translates to

The night of finished the reign of Mystic yesterday. The king has died… The king lives!

What is THAT about? Over dramatic at the least. I’d dismiss it if Ovaciones (and others) didn’t appear to delight in making me read between the lines to figure out the actual news.

  1. Nah. (That it’s Perro and Aguila, and not Perro and Hector, makes it seems unlikely.) But if it did happen, that’d be a flashing red light.

  2. People is saying that Perro is more over than Mistico, which, of course, is not true, it is only that a few guys are louder than the kids and girls. It seems that Perro only has a few hundred of fans in arena Mexico, since in other places, he’s not really a draw…
