Ovaciones notes a change in tonight’s lineup…
CMLL (FRI) 03/23 Arena Mexico
1) Mini Olimpico & Ultimo Dragoncito vs Mini Violencia & Pierrothito
2) Leono, Maximo, Sagrado vs Goto, Ohara, Okumura
3) Alex Koslov, Rey Bucanero, Volador Jr. vs Ephesto, Mephisto, Misterioso II
4) Atlantis, Sangre Azteca, Ultimo Guerrero vs Hector Garza, Mr. Aguila, Perro Aguayo Jr. [CMLL TRIOS]
5) Marco Corelone, Mistico, Shocker vs Black Warrior, Olimpico, Universo 2000
Little late in the week to suddenly be making the semifinal a title match, but that’s what we’ve got. CMLL’s been pushing the idea of Sangre getting called up to the big leagues here and having a change to stick with GdA if he performs well – I think winning the trios titles would qualify. (Though I’m betting against a title change.)
Alexis put the poster for next week’s Dos Leyendas show here. Note that with Santo split from CMLL, they’ve changed one of the legends. Tickets are $5 to $27.
AULL (SAT) 03/17 Arena Lopez Mateos [the gladiatores]

Lizmark Jr. was LATE, so they had a break to wait for him. Dandy did commentary and teased fights with Satanico and Villano III (the IWRG fued) after the match. The AULL Tag Team Tournament ends on 03/31

indy (FRI) 03/23 Auditorio de Tijuana Lineup

This is a commission run charity show for the local asylum.
More Santo vs the Enemies of the Sea articles – ESTO, Cambio Sonora, Todito. EHUI has a general Santo article.

La Voz has an article about updated version of Guerrera de Titanes in Argentina, calling itself 100% Lucha.
The Gladiatores posted edition #34 today. I want to point you to the IWRG 03/15 show – scroll down to the semimain, and look at all the empty seats.

Also, Lizmark Jr. is in for Shocker tonight.
Unbelievable :(
Tonights card looks pretty good as well, but that one change has brought it waaaay down.
FUCK LIZMARK JR!!!!!
I dunno… that Goto/Ohara/Okumura team has about as much talent combined as Lizmark Jr. so that match will surely be a disaster as all those tecnicos need people to carry them.
To be fair, it’s not like there was a chance Shocker was actually going to start showing up for matches, and it’s not like we can totally expect Lizmark Jr. to be there either. I do like the concept of one no-showing fiend replacing another.
While I am a fan of Shocker, I also like Lizmark Jr. I think the team of Mistico/Lizmark/Corleone is really neat.
As far as the titles on the line, they read my mind. I posted something about this yesterday. Thank you CMLL for this wonderful gift.
I love the look of this card and anxiously await the CMLL Galavision show tommorrow, even more than before. I will not look at results before watching.
5) Hiroka & Mima Shimoda vs Dark Angel & India Sioux
Wow at that second team. Very cool match. I would like to see Dark Angel, India Sioux & Lady Apache team up next week (hint CMLL, since everything I’ve been writing is suddenly happening)…
6) Dr. Wagner Jr. & Mistico vs Mr. Aguila & Perro Aguayo Jr.
Wow again. What a great looking match. Love the Mistico/Wagner team and the Perros team is great. Looks awesome.
The Gladiatores #34 cover is amazing.
Also, CMLL.com has posted videos of last week’s Arena Mexico show. I’m not sure when they posted them but I don’t think they were up on Wednesday. Anyways onto the videos….
3) Ephesto, Mephisto, Misterioso Jr. b Felino, Lizmark Jr., Mictlan
I first saw Mictlan yesterday and he is awesome. In this video he does a no hands flip over the top onto Misterioso. Beautifully I might add. Nice dives by Mephisto and Lizmark. Misterioso with an awesome submission and stretches Mictlan like putty. Mictlan missed a dive and landed hard on the floor. And Lizmark takes a break with the locals and drinks some water.
Hopefully that match makes Guerreros del Ring or that Fox Sports Lucha Libre show.
4) Atlantis, Sangre Azteca, Universo 2000 b Heavy Metal, Sagrado, Volador Jr.
Already saw this match this past weekend but watched these anyways. Sangre Azteca ruled in this match. He is very good. Sagrado pinning Atlantis is really cool. Plus that moonsault is great. Volador vs Azteca was a great matchup in this match. Loved this match.
5) Alex Koslov, Marco Corleone, Shocker DQ Damian 666, Hector Garza, Hijo del Perro Aguayo
Again, saw this and loved it. Perro was awesome in this match. He was going after the cameraman. Corleone’s ramp dive into the ring was amazing. It’s an insane jump. Koslov breakdancing! Shocker had a nice suicida on Garza which was out of nowhere. I didn’t see it coming and didn’t see Garza at first. Nice near-stereo divas by Koslov/Shocker. And the lowblow by Perro was nice. I look forward to these two in the ring again in the future.
Those videos are on CMLL.com right now.
Coliseo cards up. Nothing earth shattering although Tuesdays non TV show looks pretty stakced in terms of names (not quality). Is it going head to head with a WWE show or something?
And i figure that Jeque will be around 4 or 5 weeks for Stuka to take his mask which is a shame as i was kinda hoping he’d be back permanently
And we may finally get a minis match on TV for the first time in the best part of a year. :)
