Konnan had his hip operation. (RFC.) He still needs a kidney, but dialysis must’ve made it safe enough to do the surgery.

Ovaciones mention that Valiente is looking for any help he can in finding his eight year old daughter, who’s been missing since 12/23.
Pierroth fouled Satanico to end the semimain. Ultimo pulled off his mask and tossed it to Shocker, who got caught with it for the main event DQ.
CMLL (FRI) 01/12 Arena Mexico Results [ova, Alvin @ el martinete]

In the semimain, Ultimo took off his mask, threw at Shocker, who got caught with it. Ever get that deja vu feeling? Ultimo also beat up Ke Monito, who was here with Shocker. In the main event, Dr. Wagner was left “maskless, fouled, and on his back”, so it was a good night for the Perros.

Would be a great week of lucha TV if FSE Mex shows the Tigre/Starman/Ramstein, and Volador/Sagrado/Felino matches from Coliseo last Sunday, with the main show airing the top 3 from last night.
But you just know this fresh and exciting looking segunda from last night will end up somehow finding it’s way to air at the expense of one of the above. :(
Can’t wait to see last nights semi-main though, hopefully they have a revancha next week too….
Next weeks cards up, pretty uninspiring on the whole.
It’s a shame that Kenzo isn’t returning with Jindrak, otherwise i’d be looking forward to the main event. I like most of the guys in the semi, but the chances are it will be a bit of a snorefest, whilst the tercera will probably be pretty good.
That said, it would be awesome if they somehow managed to air the Sunday segunda on one of the shows. And if it does, i just hope Rob is able to contain himself at his dream rudo trio ;)
Those Sunday segunda do very occasionally make it onto the main show, as I’m sure Rob knows. Won’t happen here.
Well they aired the Sunday segunda for the past two weeks so my fingers are crossed. Next week should be the real test b/c the match should be: Flash, Sensei, Super Nova vs Artillero, Super Comando, Zayco
If that makes it on TV, *surely* the Messala/Caligula match will as well.
BTW, what a depressing Arena Mexico card.
“Hey, let’s tease a Shocker/Ultimo Guerrero feud and then book them in seperate matches the following week!”
And as long as we’re criticizing…
My how quickly we forget Misterioso II was feuding with Los Guerreros and even ruined Nitro’s chance to win the Gran Alternativa. Now they’re best buddies!
People say Paco Alonso doesn’t care about CMLL but I’m pretty sure the people who run the show care even less.
Shouldn’t the result for the Tuesday main event be swapped to Ultimo/et al DQ Shocker/et al?
Yep.
Wow, they actually gave an Ephesto mask to the fan that supposedly won the contest and gave HSN his new gimmick. I wonder if they would have flown me from Toronto if I had come up with that?

Trying to forecast what is airing in anything but AAA, is an excersise in futility…
CMLL Aired:
Coliseo 1/7
** Starman, Tigre Blanco, Tony Rivera DQ Apocalipsis, Loco Max, Ramstein
CMLL 01/12 Arena Mexico
** Alex Koslov, Sangre Azteca, Ultimo Guerrero DQ La Mascara, Shocker, Volador Jr.
** Hector Garza, Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Mr. Aguila b Dr. Wagner Jr., Heavy Metal, Rey Bucanero
AULL aired the show taped last Saturday, sans one match… want to guess which one? (Rob?)

They did the Ultimo/Shocker mini feud to sell tickets in Puebla, Queretaro, Coliseo and other minor shows…
The opener with Super Panda? Although since you’re asking me specifically, maybe it’s a trick. The Pequeno Porros match didn’t air?
Both of those matches were broadcasted…
Well I know the main event aired since the Box y Lucha board is almost having a riot over the gimmicks and I think the Ninja Turtles match would HAVE to have aired. So… mini’s semi-main probably didn’t make it.
Yep, the no minis conspiracy continues!!!
