12/09: Mexico, Teleton

CMLL (FRI) 12/08 Arena Mexico Results
1) Danger, Valiente b Artillero, Super Comando
2) Fabian el Gitano, Mascara Purpura, Metro II b Arkangel, Hooligan, Loco Max
3) Damian 666, Halloween, Mr. Aguila b Blue Panther, Sagrado, Volador Jr.
4) Heavy Metal, Shocker, Universo 2000 b Alex Koslov, Kenzo Suzuki, LA Park
5) Atlantis, Tarzan Boy, Ultimo Guerrero b Dos Caras Jr., Dr. Wagner Jr., Rey Bucanero

Hooligan replaced Nitro in the GdR special. Both teams in next week’s trios match won. Metal and Park both got taken out of their match, and I’m quite surprised Kenzo didn’t get a win here. They must be killing off this bit after Friday.

I expect to hear about the AAA taping sometime in March.

Again, no GdR or Galavision today because of Teleton coverage. There’s like a 50% shot I’ll forget to tape GdR this week because it’s on Sunday.

KrisZ notes, in the comments, that Televisa indeed did get it’s wish of a CMLL vs AAA show – except it was one match, and it was a draw.

Hiroka has a shot at Lady Apache’s Mexican National Championship next Sunday. This is a odd thing, seeing as only Mexicans are supposed to have a shot at the Mexican National championships, and Hiroka sure appears to be Japanese.

CMLL has no idea how they’re spelling Efesto/Ephesto yet. This shall annoy me greatly. It really needs ‘f’ or it’ll be massively confusing.

  1. They aired the Chessman/Manson/Abismo Negro vs Heavy Metal/Shocker/Dos Caras Jr on the teleton broadcast, so it should have shown up in Gala USA. Bridge double pin draw, didn’t watch it, wonder who got the bigger pops (I just saw the teleton push, and apparently AAA were more over).

AULL didn’t air this week but this week’s show is airing next Saturday.

  2. Oh

Only thing I’ve heard is that Cibernetico vs Muerte was a casket match.

  3. The fact there was possibly wrestling on on a channel I can get that I did not see is going to drive me freakin’ bonkers. I am being dead serious.

When did that match take place?

  4. Yeah, people are REALLY going to like this show… :\

All from 11/20 like Chui said. Dunno if this means last night’s show will air next week or not… probably will if it does end up as a PPV.

    – Blue Panther/Canek/Super Parka vs. Negro Navarro/Signo/Texano Jr.
    – Los Villanos (III/IV/V) vs. Mr. Aguila/Damian 666/Halloween
    – Shocker/Dos Caras Jr./Mascara Sagrada vs. Blue Demon Jr./LA Park/Hector Garza

  5. Couldn’t they air the Virus vs Mascara Purpura lighting match? Order of the matches were shuffled for the tv show.

It’s pretty likely that yesternight show will be aired next week…

BTW, TVC aired two of the TJ card that included the Mistico vs Hijo del Diablo match…

  6. And now Ultimo Guerrero’s trying to be the next Atlantis by cheering on a kid climbing stairs in the hospital in a Teleton spot.

I love stuff like that, but… Ultimo?!?

They’re at least starting off the first match with Panther/Navarro working the mat, which is probably the best thing we’ll see in this one…

  7. Luchathon day!!!

2 FSE GdR, 2 Tijuana Matches, 3 on CMLL, 4 on CMLL VIP and 3 on LLaves y Candados!!!

Either I got banned from the ByL forum (with only one post!!) or it is down, someone said he/she was uploading the AAA vs CMLL match…

  8. Actually, it were 4 on FSE, since they aired two shows (one was an older one with the Atlantis vs Dr Wagner Jr match).

Super Luchas images are online and they include Terry 2000 vs Sepulturero working in AAA’s Toluca show!!!!!!

  9. What did CMLL VIP air? The regular CMLL show looks awful… I may not even bother downloading it. Hopefully AAA made up for it today.

I wonder what the deal is with AULL guys working AAA?
