11/12: Accion, CMLL notes

The clips on Accion didn’t air till almost the end of the show this week. Usually, they’re in the first 10 minutes. On the upside, I got to see the commercial for the variety show with Abismo Negro.

CMLL: Volador/Dos/Wagner vs Ultimo/Atlantis/Tarzan. Wagner’s dive got profiled. Volador and Dos were wearing matching tights, which is a great sign for Volador Jr. (Actually, the way Dos seems aced out of things, maybe it’s more equal footing than you’d think.)

AAA: no lineup list here, but it looks like the semimain from 10/20 (Brazo de Plata Jr., Elegido, Intocable, Oriental b Alan Stone, Chris Stone, Scorpio Jr., Zumbido). We get a skeleton view of someone doing the moonsault to the floor, but the way it’s cut up, you never actually see who does it. You do get to see Porky getting in a middle rope splash not being in the match and in street clothes and a neck brace. This must be confusing to people who watch the TV episodes and know nothing else. Intocable low blows Alan and picks up the win.

CMLL.com reports that Shocker and Rey Bucanero want a hair match with Kenzo Suzuki and Marco Corelone, but Marco and Kenzo are faking that they don’t know spanish so they can’t accept. That is fantastic.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but Shocker’s path since returning goes like
– returns with the Perros, as a rudo, but a cool one
– turns on the Perros
– teases going tecnico, making peace with Que Monito
– teased tecnico turn appears to be dropped, or at least goes nowhere in the main DF arenas
– booked randomly on the spot shows – sometimes rudo, sometimes tecnico, sometimes rudo and turned on
– teams with Universo and Rey in a parajes incredible match
– apparently in a tecnico tag team with Bucanero?

Did I miss a full on tecnico turn somewhere? Because it seems as though there should’ve been one somewhere around here – maybe watch the TV show reflects it better? Or maybe he’s not and just doing the “even a rudo will be a tecnico against a foreign bad guy!” deal?

Add Super Parka to the list of guys coming in for the 11/20 “CMLL vs (old) indy” show. LA Park is part of the main event on Friday, and I gotta feeling they’ll run an angle to set up the Monday show. you’d hope so, at least.

It’s already nearly midnight, so we’ll push everything else till tomorrow.
