11/08: CMLL, Halcon, Huracan

At the IWRG Castle Terror of Show, instead of having ring card girls, they had – well, whatever that is.

CMLL (TUE) 11/07 Arena Coliseo Results
1) Polvora, Vaquero DQ Flash, Super Nova
2) Sensei, Trueno, Valiente b Apocalipsis, Ramstein, Zayco
3) Hooligan, Loco Max, Mr. Mexico b Fabian el Gitano, Leono, Oro II
4) Felino, Satanico, Virus b Emilio Charles Jr., Hijo de Pierroth, Pierroth
5) Averno, Mephisto, Ultimo Guerrero b Dr. Wagner Jr., Negro Casas, Volador Jr.

Not much of note on the show – well, I found out that Leono is supposed to be a cat from space (so he really is a Thundercat?), and the first match DQ was Polvora pulling Super Nova, which will presumably go nowhere.

CMLL (MON) 11/06 Domo de la Feria Results [AM.com.mx]
3) Atlantis & Marco Corleone & Olimpico b Negro Casas, Heavy Metal, Blue Panther
4) Shocker & Dr. Wagner Jr. DQ LA Park & Perro Aguayo Jr.

According the article, LA Park had words with a group of fans and started a small chair throwing riot. That sounds like fun.

As far as I know, there’s no AULL show tonight. This week’s WON claims the reason AULL got dropped from one of it’s TV stations wasn’t just a format change, but because they were paying for the time. And they haven’t been drawing that well, so this would seem to be a bad sign.

IWRG updated their lineups; some main events shuffled (no Villano III, yes Lizmark Jr. & Marco Corelone.) Astro Boy got taken off the show between when Box Y Lucha got the lineup and IWRG posted it. Either he’s injured or getting regimicked.

El Halcon #76 is up!
– interview with Crazy Boy
– Arena Queretaro results – Perro & Hector beat Rey & Shocker in the main event.
– Huracan Ramirez bio
– Interview with Juvi. Juvi is planning to win the Atomicos titles. He’s probably right. Juvi thinks the TNA/AAA deal is his way back into TNA. He’s probably wrong. Juvi talks about trying to put on his own shows, with the Mexican Powers and guys from TNA and indy guys (Jack Evans and Teddy Hart are mentioned) – I have no idea if he’s going to be right.
– Bio of Ramon Cue, the long time promoter of Arena Isabel in Cuernavaca.
– Monthly rankings!
Heavy: Universo 2000 (wasn’t he off the list last month?)
Light Heavy: Shocker
Middle: Negro Casas (well of course)
Welter: Volador Jr.
Light: Loco Max
Minis: Pierrotito
Women: Lady Apache (Hiroka doesn’t even make it on the ballot! INJUSTICE!)
