I could’ve sworn I posted this hours ago. Must’ve not hit post?
GALA: I think this is a first since I’ve been paying attention – the few people who get the West Coast feed will actually get to see the show first, because of various split feed wackiness. Thoe show itself has more first round Dream Tournament matches, a Atomicos title match, and a GPWC title match. I like the GPWC title belt, just because there’s no way you could spend more money on something and have it look so cheap.
FSE: Lots of interesting stuff here. Those with FSE may have already noticed the listing for this week:
“Virus vs Ramstein”
(let’s pause to allow Bihari to finish marking out.)
Now only if Mr. Mexico wasn’t in that match. Eh, you can’t be picky with a guy who hasn’t been in a lucha TV match in at least two years (unless I’m missing a Sin Limite appearance, and that’s possible.)
Next week, FSE starts picking up the MLB playoffs – which actually is a great thing for lucha libre coverage. They’re bumping the show to 12 midnight (though yahoo is telling me 1 AM), but they’re working in a buffer of 4 hours of various taped programming. One would assume, if there’s any over run (and it’s MLB playoffs, so there sure will), it’ll be taken care of before it gets to lucha. Of course, schedules are subject to change.
CAN52: Much more mundane. The practice of late would mean the Volador Jr. match airs here, though I don’t know if that’ll actually happen.

To clarify – HENRIK is the Ramstein mark. I am the Fugaz mark!
Trivia note: The only other time Ramstein has made TV under this gimmick… back in 2003 during the National Trios Titles tournament when he was involved in a 2 minute JIP match with Sangre Azteca and Hooligan. Remember La Alianza?
So it’s safe to assume the entire match will get edited out b/c of soccer.:)
I guess GdR gets the Coliseo semi and Halloween’s return to Arena Mexico. Which means TWO Damian 666 matches! Oh cubs, how lucky you must feel.
It’s anyone’s guess as to what airs on regular CMLL TV this Saturday. I’m sticking with my pick that the monkeys will just air the top 4 matches from Sunday’s Coliseo taping. If I’ve been a good boy this year, the opener airs as well.
As for AAA TV, you should all watch at least the dream tournament opening matches. GOOD STUFF!
I bet it’s the ROH MB Rammstein.
“To clarify – HENRIK is the Ramstein mark. I am the Fugaz mark!”
NO NO NO! :D
Ramstein the gimmick sucks in comparison to Fugaz who looked like some sort of awesome multicoloured birdman and. from going by his CMLL japan work, was one of the best modern-style luchadors around
I’ve posted more that a few time in the past saying i wished he never changed – it was a stupid change. But still – Ramstein on TV!! woohoo! Would have been better on GdR, at least then we’d be assured of the full match – as it is we’ll probably get to see the second fall or something, but you never know i guess….
BTW – Ramstein had a full match on TV once. I have (or more likely, HAD) it on some tape somewhere. It was Brazo De oro jr and Brazo De Plata jr V Ramstein and Reyes Voloz at Arena Coliseo. Can’t remember the show it was on as I know it wasn’t ordinary weekly CMLL TV – i’ve got a feeling it may actually have been some kind of pilot episode for CMLL on the Wrestling Channel that started a few years ago over here.
Bloody typical – they show you a real undercard match for once and they still manage to subject us to fucking La mascara and Kronos!!
“Remember La Alianza” – I wish i didn’t!!! Knowing of all those amazing sounding matches they were involved in over that couple of year period between 02-04 which never saw the light of day is just depressing :(
WHAT?!?!?!?? Why has nobody told me a Reyes Veloz match exists on tape? Actually… this may be what Bix used to talk about when he mentioned he had highlights of some undercard match(es?) from the CMLL TV that aired on Samurai TV in Japan. If anyone has that I’d be glad to trade my liver! Or some lucha DVD’s…
