Long night. Short on news.
No Tuesday Coliseo results anywhere. Very unusual, but probably just no one cared.
Scoria broke his leg in a six way cage of death match at a indy show this past weekend. He was booked to win the match over a local, and slipped, fell, and got hurt trying to climb out. The guy who was supposed to lose his mask didn’t know what to do, and just played dead. Officials/wrestlers entered the cage, checked on Escoria, and awarded him the match because that was the finish. (He totally should’ve just taken a hair loss and they should’ve tried to make it up for him later.) This week’s Figure Four Weekly has a more detailed account.
Scoria is supposed to help defend the Mex National Atomicos titles on Thursday and Sunday as part of AAA tapings. They’ll have to sub for him in both matches (hey, a use for Espiritu!) and I’m sure we’ll get a title change.
Ovaciones reports that Negro Casas beat Mephisto in Arena Puebla on Monday, which is wrong, and makes me wonder if the following newsbit about Negro going back to Japan in November can be trusted. I’ll assume so. IIRC, Sangre’s heading over in October. Ovaciones article is all news bites, and all news bites we’ve already covered.
The latest Guerreros del Ring has a cover of El Brazo. Don’t look directly at the forehead.
