Ovaciones reported this morning that Mr. Niebla was nursing a shoulder injury from Tuesday, which the reporter didn’t believe was serious. Niebladidn’t appear on Friday’s show, and, according to Alexis, he won’t be appearing tonight either.
Instead, new CMLL LH Champion Rey Bucanero meets NWA LH Champion Atlantis with only the NWA Title on the line. I don’t think they’re unifying the titles – probably a distraction finish – but it should be an interesting match. (And I’d totally be cool with combining the belts.) I presume Brazo de Oro fills in for Rey in the semimain (or bumps someone up who fills in for Rey).
At least Robert gets a speedy answer to “what are they going to do with Rey next?” and I get a match I like better on GdR next week. Everyone’s a winner!

Eh… I would have prefered Atlantis/Niebla. I like tecnico vs rudo better than whatever the hell Atlantis vs Bucanero will be.:/
