I’m not making it out to Hawthorne today. (Quite obviously, since I’m posting this.) So…who’s going to Congress next weekend?
Accion
CMLL: They go with the Cage of Death, so you get the good shot of Pantera unmasked. The action picked up from the final four, with Mephisto leaving, Felino sentoning both men and running for his life, and the final two squaring off. Replay pinpoints the exact vertable Misterisoo put the stress on in the top rope Rosa Driver. Pantera took his mask off and put his on his son; Ovaciones mentioned Pantera bequeathed the gimmick to his son here, so I think that’s what we’re seeing here
AAA: Octagon, La Parka Jr., Super Porky vs Shocker, Zumbido, Muerte Cibernetica – expected stuff with Octagon beating Zumbido.
Tuco called the cage match loser. Rudopolis has last week’s TV recaps.
Dos Caras Jr. is doing a chat on Box Y Lucha tommorow at 2pm.
Lucha Guys In Japan catchup
NJPW: Negro Casas really hasn’t been used much different than Sangre Azteca, except he’s taken less pins and consquently been on the winning sides of tags a bit more. Still, he’s an interchangeable outsider on this tour, flipping between sides and filling out tag matches were needed.

(one more shouw tonight.)
Considering his positioning and that they’ve indirectly used him in a build to a match (SUWA is threatening to end Mitsuo Momota’s career by using a Mariente as taught by Abismo), he’s definitely going back. He’s been kinda in limbo this year, with the unsuccessful tecnico turn and the Vipers Revolution bit not having gone anywhere yet, so I don’t think AAA would be much affected.
I have a feeling, the next time Ricky Marvin returns to wrestle in Mexico, it’ll be in AAA or as an independent.
