  1. Not even my friends can convince me to see Nacho Libre and they only have positive things to say about it. At the same time, none of them know jack about lucha libre. Anybody here recommend this movie? Don’t recommend it? And why?

  2. Did you like Napoleon Dynamite? If so, you may like this. If not, you probably won’t like this. If you haven’t seen Napoleon Dynamite . . . I don’t know. The movie isn’t bad, or anything. Of course, don’t go in expecting any knowledge of lucha to be a benefit to enjoyment.

  3. “The movie isn’t bad, or anything.”

Hmmm…not exactly swaying me with that line. From your comment, I guess no lucha knowledge is necessary to enjoy it. But we’ll see what happens and if it’s worth $6.50 or not.

  4. Just wait for it to come on HBO or something. If I knew Silver King was getting a cut of every ticket sold, I’d say go, but since he’s not, don’t bother seeing it in the theater. Too many fart gags due to it being a Nickelodeon Films production. It wouldn’t surprise me if Nick put those in after the film was done just to make sure no one mistook it for a serious attempt at comedy.
