Total brawl. There were some cheers for Park. Lots of wackiness (“AAA-like”) near the end, which dragged the match down. Wagner made the mask challenge, Park ignored him.

In his recap, Ocampo says it was a dull show, with attendence less than expected (somewhat due to rain.)

  1. Bleh, I was hoping GdR would change things up from your prediction. Oh well.

    I think O’Campo also said the attendance was effected by the World Cup which makes no sense since all the games were done by that point. Unless he mans every Mexican got extremely wasted b/c they COULDN’T SCORE ONE FUCKING GOAL AGAINST ANGOLA!:(

  2. GdR sticking with the semi and main bodes well for next week Rob. For over the last two months, every GDR has aired the Semi. I’m shitting it that they change it next week, but surely we wont be that unlucky?????

    How was todays main show? – did they manage to squeeze in the promising sounding segunda, or was it the usual depressing deal with just the top 3? (which won’t be quite so bad next week as Volador has been elevated up!!)

  3. Isn’t it great they put all the hype into the Gran Alternativa winner getting a huge push and now Volador Jr. who lost in the first round is working the same matches that Misterioso II is this week? In fact on Tuesday’s show he is in the semi-main!

    The lack of Mistico at Arena Mexico this month should mean next month and August will be 100% Mistico main events.
