of course, Galavision makes me a complete liar – they’re airing AAA again! Did Bryan’s Friend Vince start watching it again today and doom it all? Last time AAA aired (on Saturday) was December 10th.
Of course, first match in is a mini cage match which ends with a referee losing his hair. They have seemed better about that sort of AAA-ness this year, and I think it’s a taping from last year. I’ll track it down in a bit.
Edit: It’s showing matches to start from the 07/29/05 show, but they’re mixing in a dinner with Pena, Octagon, La Parka Jr., Triple A, and others. Best of? I guess so.
All matches appear to be clipped in some manner; haven’t seen enough of them to know who much they’ve been clipped.

I find this absolutely hilarious.

You mean Sangre Chicana, right? :)
So now we’re on AAA and at least a month ahead of where we were? Confusing.
I wish it was Shocker vs Sangre Azteca, but you’re right.
The ‘newest’ AAA that GALA had aired was from June ’05, and this seemed to be something done around Christmas. Which would make a month more current than the CMLL stuff, but still four months out of date. (Maybe they thought a Best Of show would be a good catchup? It wasn’t, really.)
Well, if Meltzer is to be believed – AAA was looking to get back on Galavision but all their shows were 3 hours. The year in review was only given 2 hours so Gala may have just skipped forward to air something related to AAA without having to do any editing. Should be interesting to see what happens next week.

I can’t believe that Anotnio Pena still sees Sangre Chicana as a star.Hoo boy.
