According to Figure 4: Super Porky and “4 other Mexicans” have been signed to WWE. Bryan didn’t know who they were either, so I’m sure they’re very high on them. I’m guessing it’s minis, because Pierrothito was talking about hearing about his contract status around now, but we’ll know shortly.
Dr. Keith got interviews with Rey Bucanero and Mistico last night at the Congress show; I’ll post links when they’re up.
Mascara Sagrada has an angry interview about someone selling lesser-quality versions of his mask on the internet (with the implication being he’s upset abotu the qualitity and not that he’s not getting a cut of the sale, which can’t be right). The difference between this and every other story of this kind is he’s accusing fellow wrestler Kung Fu Jr. of doing the pirating.
Box Y Lucha #2751 is up (they didn’t put up the Texano issue)
– Cover gives the most space to Perro vs Atlantis
– Poster is a classic shot of Texano.
– Articles about the many recently deceased: Kuroneko, indy wrestler Perla Rey, indy wrestler Oso Grizzly and wrestler and referee Pepe Trolebus.
– Atlantis and Perro debate who’s going to be champion on Friday. It’s a usual “Youth” vs “Experience” debate
– Bio of Rito Romero
– Rambo tells another tale of his life in wrestling
– Sagrado tells the tale of how he couldn’t decide between a life in the preisthood and a life in wrestling, until he talked to Fray Tormenta and started on the path to CMLL.
– Casandro talks about his/her feud with Pimpinela, working in the US (even mentioning Chicago’s OMLL!), and why he/she’s too elegent to be in AAA, so he/she had to join LLL.
Box Y Lucha doesn’t seem to have new listings for this week, so the lineups are shorter than usual. Oh well.
