CMLL (TUE) 11/15 Arena Aficion Results [boxylucha]
Card was shuffled up quite a bit; no Dos Caras Jr. or Mr. Aguila in the main event, and people being moved around to fill
1) ?
2) Skayde & Tony Boy b Titan & Blade

Nothing particularly on the line, but escape rules. Report was very down on this match.

Ovaciones also talks about the 12/02 main event. Nothing much of note, though the contract hasn’t officially been signed (which just means they have done the press conference yet.) You know, it’s not a good sign about the company’s creativity when they run the angle (“tombstone” = revenge!) for two straight major shows; that’s how we get the Garza/Perro/Universo three way, and that’s Halloween’s motivation here. I’d almost think it was on purpose, but they’re not bringing up the previous Tombstone, so I figure it’s just laziness.
Tonight’s Arena Neza main event is Heavy Metal, Felino, and Metro versus Misterioso II, Tarzan Boy and Arkangel. Satanico and Emilio Charles Jr. have signed for a hair match here, date to be announced. I’d also rather see that match than Halloween/Universo.
AAA’s going to run another tour in Central and South American. Panama and Guatemala are on the list.
El Halcon Net #45 is up
– Lead story is Eddie’s death
– Interview with Rey Bucanero! He started training for wrestling at age 8, because it was the sort of family; he says he’s a four generation wrestler. Rey says they defended the tag team titles 40 times. He explains the name change to GdA because Atlantis having been around for a decade before they even started. The kid who ran the GdI site moved, so that’s why the site isn’t there any more – they hope to get it back. Rey’s plans for the immediate future are to finish off the Perros and be the toughest team in town.
– Arena Mexico recap. The writer says “If Kenzo had a clue and knew what he was doing, he’d be HUGE”, but in a kinder fashion.
– Q & A with Sagrado. He says he’s never worked under another name. Should a man of God really be lying? Sagrado says he got the name from a soap opera, and his biggest payday is $10,000. What!
– Arena Coliseo Sunday shows start airing on 11/27, showing the previous week’s show. They’re supposed to be airing on channel 52 MX. In the US, deep in your digital cable/satellite system, you may have something called CAN52I, which I believe is the international version of that same channel. There’s a LLL show there I’ve never watched (I believe it’s reruns – actually, I believe this channel is part of the Spanish Language block which I don’t pay for), but I don’t see an Arena Coliseo one. It’s different version of the same channel, so it’d be reasonable if it did not, but I’m sure tapes of it will start showing by early next year.
– NGW show recap.
– Solar Poster
– Quick info on Polvora.
– Eddie bio
– PAR results from last Sunday. Main was LA Park & Blue Demon over Ultimo Dragon and Kenzo Suzuki.
– Quick note on Dark Angel; her right arm is in a cast due to an elbow injury from two weeks ago, and they’re not sure if she’ll need surgery.
