CMLL (FRI) 11/04 Arena Mexico Results [cmll]
1) Virus, Stuka Jr., Chamaco Valaguez Jr. b Arkangel, Hooligan, Apocalipsis
2) Blue Panther, Satanico, La Mascara b Mr. Aguila, Jado, Misterioso II
Ovaciones notes how Misterioso is floating between sides.
3) Atlantis b Mistico, Mephisto, Sagrado, Ultimo Dragon, Maximo, Gedo, Hijo de Pierroth [LdP Block B]
NOT Order of Elmination, unless I got reallly lucky. Finish details are below. Maximo was mentioned as looking good, though leaving on a stretcher.
4) Universo 2000, Ultimo Guerrero, Pierroth b Hijo del Perro Aguayuo, Damian 666, Halloween
Universo is challenging Perro to a hair match again.
5) Santo, Dos Caras Jr., Hijo de Lizmark Dr. Wagner Jr. b Canek, Rey Bucanero, Tarzan Boy
Focus was on Wagner/Canek.

I caught the finish to the LdP match on Accion. (I’d presume the same clip will be up on CMLL.com sometime today.) It looked especially illogical – Atlantis fakes a low blow behind Baby Richard’s back as the ref is talking to Ultimo Guerrero, and Mistico is selling a bump right next to the referee, making it implausible for him to have done it. They give Atlantis the fall anyway. Sucks. You know they were trying to protect Mistico as much as possible,

The AAA clips were labeled as Pirata Morgan vs Sangre Chicana, but are really highlights from the cage of death match last week. Outside the cage, after they’ve escaped, Esterella Dorado Jr. got thrown by Hator into an Abismo Negro martinete on the raised apron. Zumbido, Psicosis II and Charly Manson contribute by standing behind Abismo, watching, cheering, and stomping Dorado before he’s stretchered out. They showed more highlights from the match – Intocable hitting people with his fridge door – but not enough for you to find out who won.

Telemundo has a program named Accion Extrema – but it’s actually World’s Wildest Police Chases with a Spanish announcer over the top of the original broadcast. There’s a sad lack of lucha highlights.

Back to CMLL – sounds like LdP, the Santo match, and Marcela, Sahori, India Sioux b Amapola, Hiroka, La Nazi from Arena Coliseo aired this week. There were also ads for the return of Groon XXX, no date mentioned. (I’m hoping it was someone watching Galavision and being confused.)

IWRG (THU) 11/03 Arena Naucalpan Lineup [ova]
1) Freesbee b Conde Negro
2) Black Jaguar & Super Colt b Antaris & Kid Tiger
3) JdA (Pirata Morgan Jr., Nemesis, Kaleth) b Ultra Mega, Aquiles, Panterita
4) Sagrado, Suicida, Matrix bPantera, Dr. Cerebro Cyborg, Enterrador 2000
5) Cerebro Negro LOST Dr. Wagner Jr., Blue Demon Jr. Veneno, Fantasma Jr., Okumura, Hijo de Lizmark, Universo 2000, Besita Salvaje, Masada [10, cage of death, hair, mask]

That’s order of elimination. Sounds like everyone expected Masada to lose his hair when he was in the final two, but Masada debalitated Cerbero Negro with some sort of armbar, and escaped first. Cerebro Negro was revealed as Ricardo Antonio Moral Gonzalez, 30 years old, from the Federal District (Mexico City.) It’s not a good time to be a Cerebro; Dr. Cerebro is mentioned as out with a neck injury.

Sunday’s Ovaciones article was an interview with Santo, where he talked about being a fan of America (Mexican soccer team), and compared their 3-2 win over Cruz Azul to what he’s going to do to Atlantis. (If you’ve heard Cruz Azul before, it’s because Mistico mask wearing Gabriel Pereyra plays for them.) Anyway, Santo also points out this match will be the first time he and Atlantis have faced off one on one.

CMLL (SUN) 11/06 Arena Coliseo Results [ova]
1) Rayo Tapatio I & II b Artillero & Polvora
2) Texano Jr., Virus, Metro DQ Loco Max, Ramstein, Guerrero del Futuro
3) Tag Team Tournament
3a) Olimpico & Mascara Ano 2000 b Dos Caras & Mr. Niebla
Welcome back Mr. Niebla! You get a four minute match tonight.
3b) Heavy Metal & Negro Casas b Emilio Charles & Okumura
3c) Averno & Mephisto b Lizmark & Felino
3d) Blue Panther & Satanico b Pierroth & El Hijo de Pierroth Arkangel
Hijo de Pierroth actually made it to the building, but late enough to where the comission wouldn’t let him wrestle.
3e) Averno & Mephisto b Blue Panther & Satanico
3f) Heavy Metal & Negro Casas b Olimpico & Mascara Ano 2000
3g) Heavy Metal & Negro Casas b Averno & Mephisto
By sheer concidence, Metal and Negro are already challenging for the tag team titles Tuesday.
4) Atlantis, Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero b Hijo del Perro Aguayo, Jado, Gedo
They pushed an Ultimo/Perro feud here, which has all sorts of possiblities.

Super Luchas Grafico #5 is out (Mil, Tiger Mask, Mistico, and Curry Man?), and usual edition of Super Luchas, focusing on Santo vs Atlantis, but also having a picture of Cerebro Negro unmasked.

Lineups to come.

    Isn’t Cerebro Negro, is Masada
It seems that Superluchas Grafico continues having 0’Campo as editor (the credits in the cover looks like from a comic book), Are now competing the two Superluchas?
I heard Jado is injured and maybe he’ll be returning back to Japan

  2. There was definetely a Gronda promo. I think he’ll still be out for another long while though.
