This played out as a handicap match, with Universo trying to tombstone either guy at various times, only for the other to break it up. Perro scooped up the pin.

Actually if you listen to the promo on cmll.com, he challenges Mistico to a mano a mano(which is happening) and then he says “the following week, I will come for your mask”. So I’m thinking he meant if he wins the match he’ll get the right to have a mask match.
Now if *I* was booking, I’d have Mistico beat Ultimo and demand a mask match himself. Ultimo pussies out and says “if you want me, you have to go through Los Guerreros”. The following week you do Mistico vs Tarzan with Mistico going over and Guerrero/Bucanero/Olimpico beating up Tarzan thus FINALLY getting him out of the group. Another gauntlet is thrown down – Bucanero. With the added stip being if Mistico doesn’t beat Bucanero, he can’t challenge Ultimo to a mask match till next year. Naturally Ultimo interferes and Bucanero gives Mistico his first Arena Mexico singles loss. Mistico can’t challenge until next year when you can make the program hot again and tease it for the Anniversary Show.
But what do I know… I only book Arena Neza.
