Here’s the deal with the wiki, concisely.
1) I see a need for such a thing. Like the reason I do most everything else, the info isn’t out there, or at least to the level I think is useful.
2) Part of the reason I’m doing these sorta of things is to have a project to learn programming junk; typing stuff into wiki doesn’t achieve that goal
3) The wiki setup is completely separate from the rest of the site; there’s no easy way to integrate the script I’ve got running the roster with the wiki info, so I’d have to do a lot of copy and pasting to make it worthwhile
4) HOWEVER, if I could find a way to integrate my scripts and wiki, that would definitely be a project to learn programming junk.
5) I just don’t know if it’s a reasonable one.
6) If I’m just copying things over from one site to another, I’m kinda defeating the point.
7) Another thought is, if there really was a desire for such a thing, it’d be done already. Or at least in progress being done. There’s some of this work already being done on Wikipedia, but it’s one guy doing a lot of heavy lifting by himself. I don’t feel this is as much a technical barrier as a interest one.
8) I’m willing to be wrong. Anyone who wants to go ahead and add their own pages may feel free to. You can find more info about creating wiki pages here.
9) That flower’s going as soon as I can get to it.

Hey, that one guy is me.
I’ll contribute what I can but I don’t know much more than you do.
I already fixed two little grammar things, so I guess I’m in for the long haul. I have no experience with wikis past vandalizing the main page of wikipedia several times, but I’ll do what I can.
I’ll design a pretty nice logo for you Cubs.
