Ovaciones: Olimpico is expecting to be out four to six months due to his neck injury. He’ll be in a neck brace for the next month.

Hector Garza will be at the Arena Mexico show this week, but he won’t be taking Olimpico’s spot in La Copa Jr. Instead of the previous announced main event trios match, they’ll have an atomicos main event. Garza joins Ultimo Guerrero, Rey Bucanero, and Averno, while Black Warrior is added to the Atlanis, Negro Casas and Mistico team.

Who will be taking Olimpico’s spot? Mascara Magica. If I were booking this thing, I’d change my winner pick. But I don’t think they will.

PWI (reading El Norte) says Hector Garza has returned to Mexico, flying home while waiting to be offically deported. It does not sound like he’s reached any agreement that’d allow him to return to the US in the near future, but it also doesn’t sound like they’re done working his case thru the system.

He’ll be at the Arena Mexico show this Friday.

Ovaciones reported yesterday that Olimpico hurt/bruised? his third vertebrae, but will not require surgery. He should have gotten out of the hospital yesterday, but it’ll be a month before he can even think about wrestling again.

The Big News: According to Ovaciones, Olimpico was nearly killed on a tope gone wrong. Sounds like he hit the floor head first. He’s in a hospital right now. No word on his current condition.

Shocker will go on to face the winner of next week’s tournament. Apolo is
Hector Garza’s replacement – he wasn’t scheduled to be in part two of the
tournament, so I guess they’re just not planning on him being back to participate.
Porky got counted out after a Shocker tope. Averno got DQed for attacking the
referee.

Champions won the first fall, challengers won the second. Live, Rey best
Blue Panther but lost to Atlantis in the final fall, but they’ve got a habit of
editing down final falls in case of injury so we’ll see.
