Do you pay attention to the OO Honor Roll box on OnlineOnslaught? I do, looking at that Best Brand thing and hoping it never comes out of sabbatical. And often to wonder at some of the choices. Usually I just chart it up to a differing of opinions and looking for different things out of the same product and so of course we’re not going to agree.

Then, there are somethings like this.

This is the week that included last week’s RAW. I know this, because the honor roll includes Jericho/Orton as best match*. So we know this includes RAW, and yet, we have no Musical Chairs. SegmentOTY candidate, and it beat out by a bit you won’t even remember by SummerSlam. Assuming you remember now. I suspect Scaia has finally gotten that case of alcohol poisoning we’ve all been fearing. Or the foam went straight to his brain, I dunno.

I actually wrote in to protest, but no response as of yet. I just want you to know I had nothing to do with that.

* – Naaaaah.

There’s no more tired “shocking” baseball speculation than “Ichiro could hit a lot of home runs if he wanted to.” It doesn’t matter if it’s true (and if it was true, wouldn’t Ichiro be some sort of moron not to hit at least a few more out of the park?) but that it comes up after All Star batting practice each and every year since he’s come over, and clueless people treat it like it’s an amazing new fact.

Hey, Mr. DJ Paul Kent – was there a reason WGMU was playing an hour straight of covers this morning? I found it both amusing and strange.

Of the future diva, he said, “We want someone who can represent the WWE in a classy manner.” The diva doesn’t need to wrestle (but could if she wanted).

I was waiting for the ROH site to go up, or a place without pop ups to repost (*cough*chicagowrestling*cough*) so I could just link instead of reposting, but no dice.

Four shows in the midwest, no Rocky Romero one on one singles match. What are you doing to me Gabe. This really ruins any possiblity of meeting Scott when he’s wearing a shirt that doesn’t have someone else’s name on it.

Wisconsin is the better looking card to me, but that’s a two hour drive compared to a fourty five minute one, and I don’t know if it’s that much better. Not that I’m going to the 45 minute one either right now.

I wonder what happens if Homicide were to win? v454! Nah, I expect this to change a couple more times before hand.

This also falls into the “God Knows Why He’s Looking This Up” category, but:

Lita said Yes to Kane on the 05/14/04 RAW, then avoided Matt till the 05/21/04 RAW, when they immediately went back to the hotel. So, the, uh, target was hit somewhere around those dates.

While anything can happen between now and the next moment, it sounds unlikely that they’ll abort this angle. Which got me to wonder when the baby would be due? Well, I had a good guess and wanted to see if was right, actually.

WebMD says a full term pregancy lasts between 37-42 weeks. Using that as a guideline (and who says they will), that gives us a delivery range of 01/31/05 to 03/14/05.

My guess was she’d deliver at WM, but they didn’t plan this out good if that is the plan. Rumble’s real close to being on target, but I’d expect a set of skits around her pregancy, and the one hour match kinda prevents that. Maybe she goes into labor and leaves before it, and they cliffhanger it till Monday?

It does sound like a RAW type two hour thing, the more I think about it. And I really should stop it.

So, yet again, Jericho remains in the midcard.

You know, you can find a lot more Google links to people who’ve recieved the Order of the Buffalo Hunt than information about the award itself. Mostly unresearched view is it started as something important, started to trend to towards a Key To The City photo-op thing, and was supplanted by the Order of Manitoba to leave it there.

So is the name brand of the PPVs/Combined roster saving them from having 12 terrible buy rates or do you think it could be a lot closer with a combined roster? I tend to think the specialness factor is helping them quite a bit.

Bryan Danielson has been pulled off the July ROH dates as he’s just been booked for the New Japan tour. He will return on 8/28 when they run the Boston area. – Dave.com

Vengeance did about ~260000 buys (WWECorpBiz @ shareholder.com) That’s got to be disappionting, because they built HBK/HHH HitC like crazy and it didn’t do much better than Eddie/JBL I. Which makes you wonder what Eddie/JBL II.

That number for June is going to jump in the next couple weeks, because it’ll be the first month with two PPVs in it. Keep that in mind when trying to figure out the GAB buyrate: to do as well as they did with the last SD! PPV, they’ll have to end up with ~475000 buys. They could total a little bit less than that and still end up with the best June since they’ve started this chart, though I’d presume the profit would be lower (cost of running 2 PPVs > cost of running 1 PPV).
