Okay – I think I’ve got everything working again (except the update bar isn’t updating, but you wouldn’t have noticed that if I didn’t just tell you – ooops_. Yell at me if that’s not the case.

Guess I should test commenting to see if THAT works. There’s a much better error log here that I promise to check to see what I screwed up.
