I should do this, huh? I kinda waited till after the break to do it, because I wanted a break and they were taking one. Mostly, it was because this was a pretty disappointing loss. A winning road trip is nice, but they really ought to have won 2 of 3, and now a bad start to the second half could put them right where they were 3 weeks ago.

And at the same time, they’re only 4 back in the Wild Card. I still have no idea what to make out of this team.

As much as Jacque and Eyre seem likely mostly wasted roster spots, I really think Cesar is worse. The other two have more recent success you can point to – Izturis had one good season, and a lot of misery. Cedeno’s earned another shot, but he’s not the one with ~$2mil left on his deal.
